Well apparently I do..looking at your explanation.

But I used to..but not because I wanted to kill myself..but just out of curiosity..like..how they feel..the thought process..etc.

Not in the sense that I ever think about doing it.

Years ago, I had thought about it, when in a deep depression, but never a serious thought. I had children that depended on me, I couldn't do that to them. The doctor told me, in 1991, I had been in depression for 30 years...I didn't know what depression was, I know now. The depression explains to me why I've become so interested in holistic medicine.

I think about casually from time to time, but it's a fantasy that I don't take seriously at all.

I don't anymore, but there was a day when I did. Back in high school when I was a loner. Thank goodness I've grown up and moved on and have a great life.

I often have death on my mind, but I only ponder suicide from time-to-time these days.

All the time. Doesn't mean it's for real though. Shrink told me the brain is saying there's a way out even if you don't really do it. Some do though.

Sister-in-law says in Chicago people are throwing themselves in front of trains to commit suicide because of the economy. Don't think I'd like that way out. Pretty certain outcome though. Many supposedly popular methods don't work frequently and you end up still alive, sick as hell or a vegetable for life.

Not in the way you mean. I would only consider it if I lost my child.

But I do think about suicide a lot.... or at least, more than the average bear. I lost a very dear friend this way and it weighs on me. I'm changed.

No. I love life too much to think like this.

Sure. I keep suggesting it to my husband but he thinks it's a lousy idea.

I used to, maybe around, what, 11? I didn't really know any better. But really, sometimes you just have to realize that you

1. Always agree with yourself, so you're always on your side, even if nobody else is. Why should you be punished?

2. Can control anything in your life

3. Can change the situation in so many other ways.

So I mean, unless there's no way out, and really no way out, nobody should do this. Got dumped? There's like 6 billion people out there. Lose a job? Find a way. Struggle until the end!
