Take off my shoes.
Take a swig of milk.
Stretch, pop my back.
Go upstairs, have a piss.
Go up into my room and ditch my bag.

1) Get undressed and pick a towel up off my floor, shower.
Get back on the PC until tea, then nap afterwards.
2) Sit in front of the PC until tea, and have a nap afterwards.
3) Sit in front of the PC until tea, then shower, and then have a nap afterwards.

After one of the above (and holding the nap as optional)

1) (Having shaved my legs in the shower, eating tea as optional) Get dressed and spend too long on hair.
Pick up vaseline, phone, key, (purse)
Leave house
Beyond here, the possibilities are endless

2) Sit in front of the PC most of the evening
Lots of reading
Browsing the internet (SC, Modblog, Facebook, Sorry I Missed Your Party, Not Always Right, among others)
Snacking
Phoning Len
Writing in my diary
Listening to podcasts (mindless doodling)
Listening to music
Perhaps smoking
Looking at my hair
More reading
Lying on my bed listening to the Manics and thinking about boys and girls

3) Napping until 22:00-04:00.
Reading
Getting supper
Listening to music
Watching films

When I come home I head straight for the bathtub. After that it's cook, eat, clean, and then use the computer for about an hour before bed.

I do not work, but when I come home after a hike or grocery shopping, the first thing I reach for is my computer to turn it on.

I haven't been in the working world since 1986, when my father passed away. I had no leisure time...no time to sit for a cup of tea.

Get out of the car.
Tell kid not to forget her backpack and be careful on the ice.
Get to front door, tell kid to get out of way so I can unlock the door.
Open door, give cat trying to get out a push with my foot.
Tell kid to quit screwing around get inside, she's letting in the cold air.
Drop purse on endtable, hang coat, unlace boots, put on slippers.
After that, it's a toss-up.

I'm glad you can manage on your check. We should all learn to live within our means.

Take off my shoes. If it's a day when I've been teaching, I change into more casual clothes. If not, I usually just reach for my laptop.

I remember years ago, before the credit card, people stayed within their means. But, then the deceitful banks offered credit cards, it was manditory to have a credit card to write a check. I remember one Christmas, years ago, I went to buy a gift, and they wouldn't take my check because I didn't have a credit card, they were fairly new. I've rarely used a credit card, but can see how damaging it is for some. I have several credit cards, but I don't use them. Indebting people, is enslaving people, it's wicked.

The first thing? While coming up the sidewalk to the front door say hi to Joey who is sitting in the front window with his head between the vertical blinds every evening waiting for me to come home. After I walk in, petting the dog and all the other cats who run to greet me.
