| Melf | posted 1-Jan-2009 6:18am Yes, out of a window on the third storey. |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 1-Jan-2009 7:39am Hey, fascinating survey. No, I'm pretty sure I did not, which may have been a first. Actually I don't think I've done so for a few years now come to think of it. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Lahdee) posted 1-Jan-2009 7:42am You had West Nile too? My doctor said no one had it, but a year later they posted warnings all over my neighborhood. I had a brain fever and swollen brows which lasted three weeks. |
| gambler | posted 1-Jan-2009 8:00am No, I didn't throw up in 2008 |
| Cain | posted 1-Jan-2009 9:22am No - yay!! |

| Joanne | posted 1-Jan-2009 3:24pm I answered the "pee yourself" question before it got yanked. I'm not gonna fall for this one. |
| wwsd | posted 2-Jan-2009 3:58am I didn't throw up in 2008 because of drinking. But I did throw up the evening of the 1-1-09... I think it was something I ate. What a way to start off the new year. |
| Matty | posted 2-Jan-2009 8:06am I had an NG flu something. I barfed and had the trots for 3-4 days. |
| jettles | posted 2-Jan-2009 8:20am yes, i had something flu like twice in 2008. |
| they | posted 2-Jan-2009 10:51am Yes, I barfed several times in 2008.
Some of it came from having a kidney stone. I was prescribed a medication normally used for men with prostate trouble to widen the urethra. That stuff made me sooo ill. I believe it widens EVERY passage in your body. My sinuses even hurt. The good news is, I was so busy barfing that I didn't even realize when I passed the stone. Lately, I've been barfing a little in the mornings when I brush my teeth. This new Aquafresh I got does something to me if it reaches the back of my tongue. It's horrible, gagging on an empty stomach in the morning. I need to get something new today. |
| cerealkiller | posted 2-Jan-2009 1:18pm No, haven't done that in years. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to they) posted 2-Jan-2009 1:24pm You've been barfing to save yourself from buying a different tube of toothpaste? Do you realize how pathetic that sounds. ..and I thought I was a mizer. Try baking soda perhaps. |
| they | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 2-Jan-2009 1:57pm Not to save money... just because I haven't really thought about it while out.
It's not like this happens every morning. It has only happened once or twice. |
| Iseult | posted 2-Jan-2009 4:19pm Yes. 80% because I drank too much, 20% from swollowing tooth paste in the morning. |
| Lahdee | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 3-Jan-2009 1:08pm Yes, in June. Did the back of your head and neck feel swollen and tingly? It felt like a "brain invasion". (best way to describe)That was the most annoying part. Worse than throwing up all day every day. As time went on it felt like it was sort of spreading to a larger area, like on my back. I was sick for over 2 weeks.
Do you have weird numbness sometimes in your arms or anything funky like that? Like permanent damage? |
| LindaH | (reply to Lahdee) posted 3-Jan-2009 1:12pm You could add a bit of fictionalized details to that and write a horror story. |
| Lahdee | (reply to LindaH) posted 3-Jan-2009 1:20pm |
| FauxLo | posted 3-Jan-2009 1:30pm I answered "no", but I think I might've done it a little bit in my mouth and forced it back down. |
| kcthedog | posted 3-Jan-2009 9:35pm Yup! |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Lahdee) posted 3-Jan-2009 11:45pm I seem to recall so, but my memory is foggy already. I know that later I got a numb face from a psych prescription that hadn't done that before. Mostly it was 2-3 weeks of bed-ridden delirious fever with my upper face puffed shut, as far as I recall. It felt potentially lethal, whatever it was. 'Brain invasion' does sound particularly accurate though. I felt like I was full of brain lice or something. |
| Lahdee | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 4-Jan-2009 7:45am Brain infestation? Maybe that's a better word. |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 19-Jan-2009 12:10pm Yes threw up hundreds of times in 2008 like vomit and puke |
| Biggles | posted 20-Jan-2009 11:43am Not that I remember. I did get woken up by my brother throwing up, and I had plenty of episodes of nausea. |
