You had West Nile too? My doctor said no one had it, but a year later they posted warnings all over my neighborhood. I had a brain fever and swollen brows which lasted three weeks.

I didn't throw up in 2008 because of drinking. But I did throw up the evening of the 1-1-09... I think it was something I ate. What a way to start off the new year.

I had an NG flu something. I barfed and had the trots for 3-4 days.

Some of it came from having a kidney stone. I was prescribed a medication normally used for men with prostate trouble to widen the urethra. That stuff made me sooo ill. I believe it widens EVERY passage in your body. My sinuses even hurt. The good news is, I was so busy barfing that I didn't even realize when I passed the stone.

Lately, I've been barfing a little in the mornings when I brush my teeth. This new Aquafresh I got does something to me if it reaches the back of my tongue. It's horrible, gagging on an empty stomach in the morning. I need to get something new today.

Yes, in June. Did the back of your head and neck feel swollen and tingly? It felt like a "brain invasion". (best way to describe)That was the most annoying part. Worse than throwing up all day every day. As time went on it felt like it was sort of spreading to a larger area, like on my back. I was sick for over 2 weeks.
Do you have weird numbness sometimes in your arms or anything funky like that? Like permanent damage?

I seem to recall so, but my memory is foggy already. I know that later I got a numb face from a psych prescription that hadn't done that before. Mostly it was 2-3 weeks of bed-ridden delirious fever with my upper face puffed shut, as far as I recall. It felt potentially lethal, whatever it was. 'Brain invasion' does sound particularly accurate though. I felt like I was full of brain lice or something.

Not that I remember. I did get woken up by my brother throwing up, and I had plenty of episodes of nausea.
