| lara | posted 21-Mar-1998 5:18pm I had way too much free time in 1996. The results: 120+ pages and a case of carpal tunnel syndrome. |
| bill | posted 22-Mar-1998 1:01pm http://www.apocalypse.org/~bill/ *** Hey Joe, how much do you pay for that? How much would www.surveycentral.com be? |
| Artemis | posted 22-Mar-1998 3:09pm But it's under very major construction and really sucks. http://www.planimetrics.com/~fyre/ |
| joe | posted 22-Mar-1998 5:06pm http://www.joe.to ***Bill: a domain is $35/year. But then you usually have to pay someone to serve as a host, which is usually $30/month, unless you are lucky enough to have your own server |
| hunter | posted 23-Mar-1998 3:12am A few years ago a whole bunch of people in one week asked where my homepage was and when I said I didn't have one they said "Oh, you have to get one, there are so many boring ones out there and yours would be really cool!" This seems like an entirely sufficient reason not to have one . I don't feel that I have a lot of content to offer, although sometimes I think of starting basically my own column on whatever I happen to be thinking about. |
| Jaime | posted 23-Mar-1998 6:55am http://www.ctav.es/jaime , it's my Raytracing Gallery. Criticism expected... |
| steve | posted 23-Mar-1998 1:48pm My lab has one, but I don't have a personal one. |
| Paco | posted 24-Mar-1998 2:57am Yes, but it's only in spanish (one of this days I'll translate it to english): http://www.geocities.com/RainForest/Vines/7213 It's an anti-bullfighting, pro-animal rights page. |

| Dolemite | posted 31-Mar-1998 6:25pm This question was done. Anyways, what's the point of a web page if no one (under 100 users) goes there? |
| zoomie | posted 31-Mar-1998 11:22pm I have more than one website, but not enough computer time to update all of them lately. |
| Resy | posted 6-Apr-1998 7:21pm ...I'm shameless enough to give the URL, but it's behind the firewall! |
| Tonya | posted 16-Apr-1998 7:06am Hopefully. I want to sell afghan |
| Mark | posted 4-May-1998 6:07pm I'll give the URL for my Georgian Acapella group's webpage, Iveria and let people figure out the rest of the (3 page) "site." |
| daver | posted 14-May-1998 1:53pm I'll have a web page when I have something worthwhile to put on it. The "look at me!; aren't I cool?" type web pages are silly. |
| plots | posted 29-May-1998 11:48am Sure I do. And with lots of neat stuff on it (I even keep an updated list of my high school friends emails and addresses for reunion purposes) |

| phi | posted 17-Jun-1998 11:31pm I used to have my own domain, but come on, personal domains are so early 90s. |
| gilly | posted 14-Aug-1998 4:47pm http://www.apocalypse.org/~gilly. It started because my bookmark list was too long, before you could have folders in booksmarks, and I wanted to categorize them. It sort of, uh, grew. |
| elijahblue | posted 19-Aug-1998 7:48pm Yes, I have web pages, but they are under construction... *** well, they're still under construction but they are now open to the viewing public: http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Troy/3435 |
| Biggles | posted 9-Aug-2006 12:49pm I started writing one once, but I accidentally deleted it before I could upload it |
