Do you remember compliments more than rude remarks or vice versa?

I'm not really sure.

Both about the same - but to be honest, people rarely make rude remarks when I'm about. I'm far too big and scary for them to do that!!

I think I remember them both about the same.

I put them both in my pocket and carry them around with me.

Bill gave me one once that I get out and dust off from time to time. It always makes me feel better.

They are fun to take out and throw around, just to see how high they bounce.

I remember any comments, both good or bad, if they come at me with strong emotion. It's the emotion behind the words that gets into my brain.

I remember even the slightest possibly implied thing that anyone might say about me, good, bad or ambiguous.

Compliments I do remember more than anything

Well, you know how high school is. A snide remark could make me feel self conscious about that particular feature or trait I have for weeks. Plus, compliments slide off me like water off a duck if I feel like they're just made because it's from my mom or something. But a good compliment is really powerful.
