I read a lot of the Goosebumps books when I was younger, couldn't tell you which ones though. |
| Frostbrand | posted 12-Dec-2008 4:26pm None. I usually do a survey like this every year too, but this year thanks to, well, life, I didn't get to read near as much as I wanted to, and most of that was for class, so I'm not gonna bother. |
| Enheduanna | posted 12-Dec-2008 4:58pm The only one of these I've read is The Kite Runner. I didn't particularly like it. It kept making me cry, which made me feel a little manipulated. And I hated how he ended so many chapters with these obvious, foreboding "cliff-hanger" sentences. |
| Galomorro | posted 12-Dec-2008 6:25pm There is no option for "Other" or "None of the above." I haven't read any of these. |
| llamamama | posted 12-Dec-2008 6:26pm I've read goosebumps..but aaaaages ago..
I like Tom B. Stone more. His name made me giggle. |

I'm not a huge fan of Maeve Binchy, but she's one of those authors that can keep my attention despite not liking her work all that much, so I got it for the plane ride. Another author I kind of dislike, but gets me reading until I'm done is Dan Brown. |

I'm not a big fan of hers, either, but when you're a big reader like I am, you can't help but encounter her work. I'm not sure I've read Dan Brown. |
| Iseult | (reply to Joanne) posted 2-Jan-2009 3:48pm I guess she's one of those writers who likes to overlap her work. I read another book by her, few years ago, Tara Road, and it talked about Quentin's in there. |
| Biggles | posted 20-Jan-2009 1:33pm Just The Kite Runner. I've mostly been working through classics lately and I'm reading St. Theresa's (of the ecstasy) autobiography at the moment. |
