What hair colour do your parents have? What's the colour of your hair?

My Dad's hair was dark brown, now it's grey. My Mum's hair was dark brown, went grey and is now dyed auburn. My hair was dark brown, is now greying, and has been dyed vibrant red.

My dad's hair is black going on grey.
My mum's is a brassy brown.
Mine's mousy.

Both of my parents have dark brown hair, though my dad's is darker than my mom's.

*edit* (didn't see second half of question) - I have dark blonde hair - my mom's was this colour when she was younger.

My dad's hair color was brunette/green eyes. My mom's hair color was light brunette/brown eyes. When my mother was young, she had blond hair, darkened into light brunette.

Well was told my mother was a blue eyed blonde and my father hispanic so presume he had either black or dark brown hair...

My dad's hair was a very dark brown, almost blackish. It turned grey in his last few years. My mum's is a brown with a red tint. My hair is like my mum's, but darker. I have a few whisps of grey which I lovingly refer to as tinsel. I would say my hair is a combo of both of theirs.

My mum's natural hair is sort of dark dirty blond, and my dad's is black. My natural, which after many years of dying I decided to let grow, is sort of a medium dark brown with a little bit of red in it.

I was born with black hair and dark blue eyes ... now I have dark brown hair that looks almost "reddish-purple" in the sun (or so I have been told) and turns more brown at the bottom (especially when I let it grow long), and I have brown eyes ... guess my hair color is a mixture of my dad's black hair and my mom's reddish brown hair, but of course, genetics is not always that simple
