I'm going to my sister's for Thanksgiving, I haven't a clue.

For Christmas at my home, we'll be having turkey, hors d'oeuvrs, a plenty, salads, fruit, pies, the trimmings. We want a fairly "light" day as we're having the big Christmas with all family on the 28th, so everyone can have Christmas with extended families.

"Other" is missing. While my neighbor is planning to cook something for Thanksgiving, he's not sure yet what it will be. We still have a week to decide. It could be Cornish game hen or it could be several other different meats.

I my case, Thanksgiving was in October.... and I didn't have anything. Everyone was busy that day so we didn't get together.

I am having what my hosts will be serving and that will probably be turkey. They know if I am coming, they won't cook a ham.

That is so not cool. WTF! Too busy for Thanksgiving!? You are hereby granted a do-over. You've got till Thursday morning to get here. We are going to Mary's cousins house down the road a piece.

OF COURSE we are going to have pumpkin pie! It might not be the best pumpkin pie you ever had, in fact it might be kinda flat...but that is not what matters! What matters is the day with the family!! WEEHEEEEeee

Not celebrating Thanksgiving this year. Claire is in a production of "A Little Princess" and has rehearsal from 5:30 to 9:00 on Thanksgiving. This is an additional rehearsal added last week as they are now performing the day after Christmas at the French International School. The show opens next week at The Fringe Club and the girls have 12 performances.

If I was celebrating Thanksgiving, we'd be having turkey. Always turkey. Never ham. (The kids will have turkey and tons of other stuff at school---Claire's class made apple pies for all of the other classes while James' class cooked pumpkin bread.)

Probably cereal or ice cream if the local Chinese buffet place isn't open. They probably will be, though, since they have been the last few years.
