| kirst | posted 26-Nov-2008 5:05pm Not celebrating Thanksgiving this year. Claire is in a production of "A Little Princess" and has rehearsal from 5:30 to 9:00 on Thanksgiving. This is an additional rehearsal added last week as they are now performing the day after Christmas at the French International School. The show opens next week at The Fringe Club and the girls have 12 performances.
If I was celebrating Thanksgiving, we'd be having turkey. Always turkey. Never ham. (The kids will have turkey and tons of other stuff at school---Claire's class made apple pies for all of the other classes while James' class cooked pumpkin bread.) |

For Christmas at my home, we'll be having turkey, hors d'oeuvrs, a plenty, salads, fruit, pies, the trimmings. We want a fairly "light" day as we're having the big Christmas with all family on the 28th, so everyone can have Christmas with extended families.
