Other. My neighbor is not my significant other but I shop for what he decides to cook because he likes to have a special meal for Thanksgiving. Sometimes he goes out with someone else for dinner this day and we eat what he cooks the next day or so.

I don't. British. Would like to though - any excuse for a party.

It's another day on the road, except sometimes it's hard to find an open restaurant. Ironic really, being as it's a holiday dedicated to over eating and most restaurants are closed. I spend the day driving a truck and eat something from the refrigerator, or truck stop.

Having friends over, going to a friend's place, or just me and my SO. It varies.

Growing up, my mom made it and we had my grandmother over. Later, after my parents split up, my dad and I went to his sister's house (my aunt). Then, at some point around or after college, things got a bit random, but we had it over friends or where we lived with friends. Now, I think we most often go over a friend's house, though the plan varies, I think and it may not always happen. I think I've made it myself for just my wife and I once or twice. I think I've had it at a restaurant once or twice too, but not recently.

I do not celebrate it... The last good "holiday" is Halloween or Samhain...otherwise everything after that sucks..

Usually spending the day at home with my husband and kids or going to his dad's house with a precooked meal. This year my mom is here though, so we'll have Thanksgiving dinner here with her. * grin *

Don't know what he does. His work gives away turkeys every year and he gives them to us.

With no family here anymore it'll be a pre-cooked turkey dinner deal from Safeway. Not gonna spend all day cooking for two people.

I go to as many turkey dinners as I can fit in. The ones that ask me of course.

I spend the day with my family. My dad typically cooks most of the food and my mom makes the cranberry sauce. This year though, my dad told me to bake the pies..so I'm going with pumpkin (duh)..and I'm not sure what the other pie will be. Hm

I wish I could spend it alone, but my family is very demanding. I usually enjoy myself, but they leave me feeling exhausted.
