I think it would make more sense to just say "That is so Lindsay" because often when something is "gay" it is not homosexual at all. But I haven't heard of any gay people getting offended by this as of now. I don't say it though. |

I'm not really bothered, especially because I hear homosexuals use it in that context too, but I think it's just a random thing, like how people say retarded in that context, people could say something is so jew in that context or anything like that but it would just sound stupider. |

No one has ownership of a word and language is dynamic. I'm sure homosexuals scoffed at people crying foul over their appropriation of the word "gay". Now it's been re-appropriated. Crap happens. Things used to be naff, then they were bogus, now they're gay. Give it a couple of years and kids will be saying "That's so spoon!" .. or something. |

I dislike that people like to misuse words while I, with a developmental disability, attempt to say things correctly.
It just makes them look stupid.
Despite this, I don't mind that they use to word "gay". "Retarded", though, is another matter. |

Whoever made that video is missing the whole point of blogging. Most people who blog don't believe they are changing anyone or accomplishing anything. It's just plain fun to post your opinions. The negativity in that video makes the creator(s) look juvenile and ignorant. |
