Well thank God! you are a tough lady when it comes down to these 2 clowns named Pomeranian and Frostbrand they should be put in a circus together oh!! they would make a great circus act under the big top , but today I went to Church at
the Episcopal Church 4 was a crowd today? Yes we only had 4 people show up for Church

After Church i went to the grocery store bought some milk and on the way home I was thinking! about the other Church the
Evangelical Church at the high school service it begins at 10:00 am and my Church it was 9:00 am for morning prayer
and on my way home gee just turned my car around and decided to visit the Evangelical Church right?
and after looking at the clock in my car which said 10:09 so i went to the other Church and worship with them it was soo cool and awsum wow what a service" Just enjoyed worshiping the Lord with them and doing the Bible study really loved that Jean they are nice and kind people and the Pastor he is brand new to the Church his name was Dan?

Yes I just had a wonderful time went from my Church and then to other Church they are so upbeat and alive" wow and wow.

Being Episcopalian this was my first time worship with them and it was kind of neat because many of these people , I do
know them really well some have an attitude problem but oh well it is their problem to deal with not mine.
Think i will do this again next Sunday and yes bring my Bible because we do not use bibles in the Episcopal Church and
all we use is the book of Common Prayer? Now i would have to get used to carry my Bible with me to the other Church
and just loved the Bible teachings in their Church Jean

Just have to see how it works out with me and other members in their Church plus they have a sign out by the highway it

And this is a good Church for me to help learn the Bible something we do not do at the Episcopal Church , don't get me wrong Jean i love the Episcopal Church but we never ever study the Bible it is just morning prayer is all?

I was baptized in the Episcopal Church as a child and i still go to the Episcopal Church 50 years later yes and here i am.

I'm curious... where? In the attic? Tucked in a box stuffed in the basement? Sitting in a closet in the spare room for whatever kids stop by to play with? Up on the shelf in a room still preserved from your childhood?

My mom lives in the small ranch-style house where I grew up. She kicked my dad out, then my brother and I went to college and left home. So, she's lived there alone for a long time now. She just sort of spread into all the rooms of the house, including my bedroom and my brother's. But, both of us left some stuff behind. Well, I think. I know I tried to take most of my crap away too. I doubt I took the stuffed animals.

She's pretty far along with the whole dementia thing now too. And she's a hoarder. The basement is a mess, plus some flooding problems. There is an attic, but small and hard to get to (access if through a hole in the ceiling of a closet filled with crap). She moves stuff around in the house a lot. There are stacks everywhere. It doesn't make much sense. Actually, I'm not sure if she'll be living there much longer since just this week she started to wander into the neighborhood and the police have been involved. I may be able to give a better answer later if I end up being involved with cleaning out the house.

Because we've had to deal with dementia with my grandma (minimally compared to our other family members), my mom asked me to help her end it all if she loses her mind the way grandma has. I seriously don't think I could... but I told her I would.

Sorry to bring it up... it's not as bad as it sounds (if that makes any sense). I'm actually glad in a way because the situation has been precarious and I think recent events might lead to a better situation (e.g. assisted living). I don't like unresolved issues lingering.

My dad mentioned on the phone the other day that mom had specifically said to keep her alive at all costs (sort of an anti-DNR). I remember, she said it to me too. We both said "we'll see" though. I mean, it just doesn't make sense at some point. Not that we're close to that point.

If it was me, I'd hate to be a burden. Stick me somewhere and pretend I'm dead. If I'm losing my mind, I'm gone already. I don't know if I could kill myself, especially if my mind was going. I think it's too much to ask someone else to do it too. Maybe just release me in the middle of the woods with a knife. That way you could say I got a fighting chance.

I understand perfectly what you mean about it not being as bad as it sounds... For my family, it's like we lost Grandma long ago.. Also, when she first started having trouble - she was very aware of her memory loss and confusion and it was terribly upsetting for her. After it progressed and she stopped realizing who we were and what she had lost, it was probably quite a relief for her... even if she didn't know it.

Lucky for me, the diabetes related problems will get me long before dementia sets in. * rolls eyes *

I know there's a lot of pressure to come up with better treatments for Alzheimer's. As baby-boomers age, we could have a national crisis if we can't do better. I figure I have at least 20 years, so there's a decent chance they'll be able to deal with it better by then. I actually don't even think I'll get it, which is probably not very rational, but it's easier to not worry about it.

I got a high blood pressure reading at the doctor last week, though. So, now I'm trying to change my diet and lose weight. Maybe, this will give me the motivation to stop being a fatty. Either way, I'll probably end up on another pill. *joy(sarcastic)*

Talk about not rational.... I've always felt that if I live long enough, the dementia will get me. Somehow I feel it in the back of my brain.... total loss. Like it's waiting. Or maybe I'm just paranoid.

Have you been checked for an internal infection? Have you been checked for diverticulitis? I had a bout with it not long ago, and I wished for death, it was painful. A couple of days ago, I talked to a friend of my daughter's and he didn't pay attention as he should have, after finding he had it, and it landed him into the hospital for several days. He was an hour from death. They ended up taking some of his colon. He told me he also wished for death it was so painful. He now watches himself...I guess I haven't got to that point. Sometimes we haven't an idea, and we let it go, but thank God for my daughter, she pushed me into having a test for diverticulitis...and I had it. This is worse than the pinch it was more like 1 2 3 4 different Ambulance trips to the Hospital and female troubles for me like menopause night sweats and just stinky stinky and getting sent down to Denver and they ran like hundreds and
hundreds of tests on me from an eeg this sleep study to an MRI to CT Scans and X-Rays and all this began at work having a panic attack and the Paramedics they were working on me and get me into the Ambulance for 1 trip to the hospital they could not figure out anything at this Kremmling Hospital after all these tests so Ambulance no. 2 too Denver
nearly 100 miles away and after 3 trips to this hospital via Ambulance and no. 4 to Denver they said possible stroke and
panic attack sheesh plus i could not get back here from the hospital after they released me had to take the 100 mile ride
home in a Taxi ? yes a Taxi $250.00 for a Taxi ride home !!!!! all because my friends could not help me in time of need ??
and pick me up in Denver oh gee worse than worse my wallet with i d and money is still locked up in hospital safe because they key got broken is stuck inside the safe ?? Oh what next and bad case of menopause has really hit me
with headaches night sweats because of loss of estrogen or decrease in my medications it was awful "

Men, go through their issues too...possible impotency? Bottom line, we have to love, eat, sleep, well, and pray!

I refuse to take any of the hormone medications. I took them in my 30's, years ago for a short period, and then stopped.

Aging can be a real trial in life...I'll ride the waves...

Every day is a real test...under good circumstances, aging can be a beautiful experience.

It sometimes crosses my mind, I wish I could have my young healthy fit body back, and know what I know now, what age and experience gave me....life would be sweeter.
