The survey was already 'ready' - mine was the seventh reasonable vote. I thought it only took five.
And I don't know, but I think it depends. |

maybe it still needed 24 hours? |

I could have sworn it said ready - when I reasonabled it it popped straight out of qual. |

Cold turkey. Definitely. Feel the cravings, suck them up, deal with them.........and then they're gone. |

Yeah, I think that's possible... there's a script that runs hourly to release ready surveys, but that means there can be up to an hour delay... but any qual vote can make it happen right away too. |

Oh, just knock it off. |

Maybe it wasn't at 50%, and melf unwittingly bumped it up. |

Cold turkey I suppose. But then I've never been really "addicted" to anything that was physically problematic. I quit buying weed long ago cuz I disliked having to pay such a high price for it. |

maybe, but I think she said it was "ready"... which I think means the rating was OK... though, to be honest, I'm not sure I remember. |

Cold turkey. Which, by the way, is a hugely bizarre idiom. |

Cold turkey. If you're quitting, it's for a reason, right? No need to give yourself any of what you're quitting, just throw it all out the window. (Figuratively speaking). |

Other. Come to the realization and understanding of why you know longer want to do something, than stop doing it. It's more than cold turkey, sometimes that can be too much to do at once. Make it a slow and deliberate turkey sandwich and warm it just enough to take the chill out of it. |

depends
I'm not a smoker but I've heard of people doing well going cold turkey. When I switched from using a manual to an electric toothbrush, I went gradually because I wasn't comfortable with the electric one. Not really quitting anything, I know. Just came to me. |
