Bill i see him as being 80 years old and smoking cigars and you Moviesnob i would guess your about 25 years old and very shy |
| gambler | posted 26-Aug-2008 2:06pm Not at all.................... For example, Iseult only has avatars of books, but you could not derive from this, that she is such a hottie!!!......... |
| gambler | (reply to moviesnob) posted 26-Aug-2008 2:09pm This was kinda my point, like I said about Iseult......Looking at your avatar (I am guessing its your dog?) maybe fun-loving, affectionate? and again who could guess your such a hottie too?

| gambler | posted 26-Aug-2008 2:10pm Gambler, I picture a happy-go-lucky guy that always has a smile on his face. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,actually thats not far from the truth *smile* |
| moviesnob | (reply to JessicaWoman99) posted 26-Aug-2008 3:03pm I don't feel I'm very shy. I just don't talk a lot on the Internet, as I don't usually have very strong opinions on things, and I don't usually like to add to conversations if I don't feel I have something worthwhile to say. |
| moviesnob | (reply to gambler) posted 26-Aug-2008 3:06pm Yeah it's my dog, but I need to update it, he's not a puppy anymore.
I'm actually deriving my opinion of you from your posts and such - if I did it from your avatar I would think a corporate man that makes lots of money, or a mafia dude! :D |

| kcthedog | posted 27-Aug-2008 12:26am It also helps to get to know the user behind the avatar, sometimes I think people do attempt to project their personality out in the form of an avatar. Take me for example I have a avatar of a dog, alot of things could be read into that, (I am a dog!) but really my avatar is my way of keeping my daughter alive in my life and mind. KC (or Casey was how it was spelled) was my pet for thirteen years and my constant companion. So my avatar reflects me in a indirect way but I can see how it reflects me because I want to be thought of as a big old friendly puppy dog, playful, faithful, loyal, with just enough mischief to keep things interesting. |
| kirst | posted 27-Aug-2008 2:03am Sometimes...it depends on the avatar. |
| Matty | posted 27-Aug-2008 8:25am Not at all, if one could, then people might have assumed that I am a Hispanic lady with big boobs (until just recently when I changed it to the silhouetted soldier). |
| gambler | (reply to moviesnob) posted 27-Aug-2008 9:38am Ha! ......... or a Gambler? |
| Iseult | posted 27-Aug-2008 9:45am No. |
| Cain | posted 27-Aug-2008 3:56pm Yeah, I have a resounding image of BIll as a giant doughnut sitting at a PC.
And I want to eat him. |
| bill | (reply to Cain) posted 27-Aug-2008 4:37pm Hi! ...but, are you aware that I'm 80 years old? |
| llamamama | posted 27-Aug-2008 8:44pm Yeah, especially if it's an avatar of them. Otherwise I might just get ideas about them..like interests and hobbies.. |
| cloudhugger | posted 5-Sep-2008 3:03pm Yes, her words and personality are as sexy as her avatar. Take for instance my avatar currently....I hope no one actually thinks this is me.I look more like Ren or Stimpy.
Sometimes I do imagine their avatar reflects them physically, don't know why. |
| docgbrown | posted 7-Sep-2008 10:38pm I've been fooled |
| judgescratch | posted 29-Sep-2008 2:55pm If the avatar has their picture, then yes. |
| meowry | posted 30-Sep-2008 8:38pm Is the avatar a picture of themselves? (I have one like that on AnswerBag.) If not, no. Until I've seen the person for myself, their face is a blank with a question mark. It is not in my nature to assume. |

I have no idea what to picture when it comes to Bill, since he's changing his avatar all the time. When Kate would post, I would always picture an angry older woman with short hair. Gambler, I picture a happy-go-lucky guy that always has a smile on his face.
I'll post more as I think of them.
