Just educational flash cards, like Portuguese lessons and some others, but not now for the paper ones. Prefer computer flash cards. |

Magic the Gathering, a tiny little bit. And, another game called NetRunner which was similar but cyberpunky in theme. I've gotten rid of all of them now.
I collected stickers when I was a kid. |

heh! i knew you collected them too!
do you still have any? i don't, i don't have the foggiest as to what happened to them. saw a handful of them the other day at a rummage sale...there was only 5 of them or so, the person wanted 2 bucks for 'em! bastard |
they | | (reply to justjulie) posted 27-Aug-2008 8:18am |
I don't still have any... but I was wandering aimlessly around a baseball card shop once and found packets of them. Unfortunately I was poor at the moment and didn't get any.
I have searched them, and I have several favorite images of them saved to our computer.
I had a huge stack and hung out with the boys to trade them. Most of the girls at school didn't keep them. Those cards made me feel special way down deep in an unexplainable way... there was something really good about them. |

I just remembered Michael Jackson cards. Did you have those?
I actually do still have a few of those.... the stickers anyway. The fronts peeled off into MJ stickers and I have a couple stuck in my childhood sticker book. Can you believe some of those scratch N sniff stickers still sniff? |

I collected baseball when I was a kid; boy, I sure wish I had some of those cards now. |

i totally agree about them being a bit special. something that i can't quite put my finger on, but special indeed.
my brother liked them too, but he wasn't into them like i was. he'd spend his $$ on candy, and i'd get the cards. |

Never collected any cards before just stamps and coins |

I had so many Pokemon cards in the fourth grade it was bordering on ridiculous.
I would go to my local Sears store and trade with the dude there. He sold cards on the side for big bucks .. it was an elusive business. :/ |

I also collected Sailor Moon and Pokemon magazines, and pens out of the machine at my junior high. My friend and I made a bet - whoever had more at the end of the year won. Little did I know she quit buying them two weeks later .. I had nearly a hundred tye-dye pens. |

I collected a different type... Wacky Packages. Batman cards (both came in the bubble gum). I think that's it. |
cloudhugger | | (reply to bill) posted 5-Sep-2008 3:35pm |
They have got to count. My last birthday, my sister got me some of the new ones. I cannot describe what it was like to open the packages up and giggle and show them off at my party. I was laughing and having a good time with them till I realized that no one else there 'got it'. Screw 'em, I didn't have to be a grown up then, it was my party. |

I have a "Slam Jims" 'fridge magnet from a pack of new Wacky Packages I got a year or so ago. |

Yes, I have a large collection of baseball, football, basketball and hockey cards. Most of the cards are between 15 and 30 years old. I really don't know what they are worth and haven't looked at them in years. |
