Do you think you could be a fair arbitrator between two conflicting states if one of those states has one of your top advisers on payroll?

This has obvious political overtones; why don't you just ask the real question?

I wish I had a switch that would turn off (block) all news related to the election. I wouldn't use it all the time, but I'd like to take a break once in a while.

No. And there is no such a thing as a far arbitrator no matter what anyone says.

I'm tired of it, too. I think I am going to get drunk on Bombay, hold my nose, and close my eyes while I pull the lever on the voting machine. To me, that makes as much sense as anything else.

Ok, duh, I read that as there's no such thing as an arbitraitor; just chalk that up to my stupidity.

Probably not. Doubt it. I can do my best, but I am only human.

I could... I don't have any top advisors.

It would be appropriate to recuse oneself from the proceedings in this kind of situation.

Yes. If I hired someone, they would not be there to do what I wanted. I would have hired someone who can think without a crutch.

I didn't click the link, btw, I may have said something stupid.
we will see....
