| moviesnob | posted 25-Aug-2008 10:04am Yes, I'd still be going. |
| llamamama | posted 25-Aug-2008 10:27am I'd probably be dead..What with falling through glass and having appendicitis..The appendicitis would have most certainly killed me..It kinda almost did in modern day, anyway. If that had killed me I woulda been dead for..8 years now. |
| Cain | posted 25-Aug-2008 10:40am Yeah, I'd be alive and kicking. |
| Melf | posted 25-Aug-2008 11:13am Icurok did this just over a year ago...
I would still be alive, had there not been an outbreak of TB, etc, but my eyesight would have held me back quite a lot. |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 25-Aug-2008 11:37am Yes I would be alive and strong and kicking!! and i have no sickness or any illness |
| Crayons | posted 25-Aug-2008 12:13pm Haven't had any sort of medical things going on. I think I'd live. |
| Enheduanna | posted 25-Aug-2008 1:52pm I don't know. I've been vaccinated for a bunch of things that could theoretically have killed me. I haven't had any illnesses or medical problems that would have killed me without other medical intervention, though. |
| bill | posted 25-Aug-2008 2:45pm Dead at 21, RIP. |
| Iseult | posted 25-Aug-2008 4:10pm I think I would be alive. |
| they | posted 25-Aug-2008 4:30pm Well, it's more complicated than that.
My first emergency surgery was because of bike/car collision. There were no cars (and maybe no bikes!)... so it would have been unnecessary. My second emergency surgery was due to a placental abruption... I certainly might have died without the surgery, but back in medieval times - I probably would not have grown up on processed sugars, causing me to develop diabetes.. which contributed to the complications. My third emergecy surgery was because of a mistake that a doctor made during a kidney stone surgery.... One, I probably wouldn't have developed the stone back during those times because I would work a more physical job and my diet would be less laden with processed garbage. B, if I did develop a stone, I would just f'n deal with it. So.... while I could have died without any of the medical interventions that I had --- Chances are, I wouldn't even have needed the interventions in the first place. |
| southernyankee | posted 26-Aug-2008 12:19am Would've kicked the bucket a long time ago. |
| kcthedog | posted 26-Aug-2008 12:26am If I lived back then, motorcycles would not have been invented, I would not of had my accident which would eventually put me in the hospital teetering on the brink of death! But what the hell they had horses so I probably would have had my ass dumped on the road by a horse instead of a motorcycle. Who knows? |
| kcthedog | (reply to Melf) posted 26-Aug-2008 12:42am I have to admit Melf you get maximum mileage out of your avatars! They are even more fun if I imagine that I actually understand the humor behind it while I do not want to seem presumptuous I sense a deep-rooted personal message conveyed. You always have a really obvious choice of avatars that always catches the eye and won’t let go, it is just always right there!

| justjulie | posted 26-Aug-2008 8:50am i'd still be here, unless of course the plague swept through |
| judgescratch | posted 26-Aug-2008 9:32am I'd be alive. My wisdom teeth would probablly be giving me a hard time, though. |
| Jody | posted 26-Aug-2008 11:48am Nope, with all my allergies as a child they would have surely just left me in a field to die or something. |
| gambler | posted 26-Aug-2008 2:13pm Nope, I'd be dead for years now............... I had pneumonia @ 2yrs old and was under an oxygen tent, I dont think I would have survived in the middle ages |

| kcthedog | (reply to Melf) posted 27-Aug-2008 12:06am This one needs to cut out the caffeine, or take a long drag off of a pipe! |
| Matty | posted 27-Aug-2008 8:50am I would have died when I was 13; I had to have an appendectomy. |
| Melf | (reply to kcthedog) posted 27-Aug-2008 11:20am |
| aquawolfy | posted 27-Aug-2008 5:12pm I would have died of Menengitis as an infant |
| Melf | (reply to kcthedog) posted 27-Aug-2008 5:35pm How bout this one? |
| kcthedog | (reply to Melf) posted 28-Aug-2008 2:11am I like it, at least it is calmer but I do not think it captures You! |
| HMC35 | posted 3-Sep-2008 7:10am You know, I think I'd be healthier for some reason. |
| cloudhugger | posted 5-Sep-2008 4:21pm I would be alive. |
| JohnCD | posted 7-Sep-2008 12:16am Yes, I would still be alive and well. |
| docgbrown | posted 7-Sep-2008 10:45pm Since I had issues in infancy I'd be dead |
| meowry | posted 18-Oct-2008 3:40am No. I have poor genetics, and not a strong will to live unless I have things to enjoy. And, considering my childhood disabilities, I would have died at a young age. |
| Otter | posted 18-Nov-2008 12:47pm From the middle ages to now? No I'd been dead for hundreds of years by now. |
| drcameron | posted 1-Jan-2009 4:06pm i dont think i would have died from an ear infection, but i probbably would barely be able to hear, and i can hardly see without my glasses. |
| Biggles | posted 20-Jan-2009 2:23pm I had osteomyelitis as a baby, so I would probably be dead. Also, missing out on all the vaccines I've had, as well as no access to modern sanitation, would probably have done for me before I was 5 years old. |
