once or twice a week, on average... some weeks none, other weeks 4.
You probably should have had options for more than once a day... it's not unusual for some people to drink a 6 pack a day, or more. |

Never. Do not drink or like beer. |

I do not drink beer. I've perhaps had 1/2 glass of beer in my life. |

Never. It smells horrible..and I'm not 21. |

I drink girlie beer, which I guess are wine coolers - stuff like Smirnoff, and Mike's Hard whatever. I don't like "real" beer. |

Occasionally. Not a big beer fan. |

Never, hate the taste of beer. |

Wait a minute, don't you own a pub? Heh. |
| Pomeranian | | posted 25-Aug-2008 3:51am |
I will drink one occasionally but beer makes me a mean drunk so I avoid it. |

pretty much every day, and on those pretty much every day's i have 2 or 3 or 4...depends on my mood and on how good they are tasting. am a bit of a beer snob though. |

We stock about 65 different types of alcohol, of which three are beer.
It's not the be-all and end-all of what you can get in a pub........ |
Melf | | (reply to Cain) posted 25-Aug-2008 11:06am |
I know, I just found it kind of ironic. |
| Cain | | (reply to Melf) posted 25-Aug-2008 11:08am |
Why?
Its kinda like finding the irony in someone who works at the meat department in Tescos but isn't keen on chopped pork. |
Melf | | (reply to Cain) posted 25-Aug-2008 11:13am |
Because I cannot imagine that those 62 other types of alcohol are bought equally. I would imagine that beer is quite near the top of the list. It's more like finding the irony in someone who owns a bookshop not liking Shakespeare. |
| Cain | | (reply to Melf) posted 25-Aug-2008 11:18am |
It's quite near the top of the list yes, but why would that mean that I, as someone who owns a pub, should like it?
I might just be being very dense here, but I don't get it! |
Melf | | (reply to Cain) posted 25-Aug-2008 11:24am |
I'm not implying there is any causation or whatever, but it would make sense to get into the pub lifestyle because you like pub culture, and beer is big part of that. Seriously, that's it. |
| Cain | | (reply to Melf) posted 25-Aug-2008 11:48am |
It's not really that big a part of it. Not when you take every other aspect of running a pub into account.
But I can see your way of thinking. |
