| Enheduanna | posted 22-Aug-2008 12:31pm My SO sometimes leaves a few dollars lying around, but no more than that. |
| LJD | posted 22-Aug-2008 4:05pm My husband never leaves money around. I do leave a few coins around on occasion. |
| Iseult | posted 22-Aug-2008 5:18pm Yes. Usually change, but sometimes bills. |
| romkey | posted 23-Aug-2008 9:00am Yes, strangers walk in and deposit dollar bills on the counters. |
| cloudhugger | posted 23-Aug-2008 11:06am I'm lost on this..what do you mean leaving it around? At home? Or like on the bar when you are at the tavern? Sitting on a table at a friends or acquaitences house?? Leaving it around in plain sight at home? Or hidden in a cookie jar at home?? |
| cloudhugger | posted 23-Aug-2008 11:10am Around the house...our house, I do. Sometimes $100 bills or $50's because I haven't gotten to the bank yet, sometimes for a few days or more. I do have a cookie jar I have left in my drawer with over $800 in it and sometimes more, but since that skank renter I had is sucking me dry, I haven't much but a few dollars. My SO...I don't know, maybe I don't pay much attention.
As far as other people in my area...I don't pay much attention. |
| they | posted 23-Aug-2008 11:21am Yes, but we only have small amounts to leave.
There's a jar with change in the kitchen, change laying around in our bedrooms and the office.... |
| they | posted 23-Aug-2008 11:23am When I was little, my neighbor had really old black and red shag carpeting. Her dad was a roofer, so he always tracked tar in on his shoes. You didn't see the tar without looking for it because it blended with the black part of the carpet. They never vacuumed(like Zang).
I always found pennies all over that weird carpet when I was a kid. |
| RainingFeathers | posted 23-Aug-2008 11:31am No. Our money is in our purses/wallets. It never comes out unless we're in a store buying something.
Personally, I lose things easily if they're not always in the same place. If my money wasn't in my purse, I'd have no idea where it was. |
| aquawolfy | posted 23-Aug-2008 4:05pm no it will disappear very quickly

| caviartaste | posted 24-Aug-2008 1:05am My piggy bank is worth about 2 dead flies really.....(and maybe a dustbunny) |
| Cain | posted 25-Aug-2008 10:46am I'm not sure I understand the question......... |
| Cain | posted 25-Aug-2008 10:48am Oooh, sorry, I get it.
Yes,money frequently gets left around my house - which given te three year old child and five month old puppy - probably isn't the best of ideas. |
| llamamama | posted 25-Aug-2008 9:55pm They used to.... |
| HMC35 | posted 3-Sep-2008 7:05am I see coins lying around sometimes, but people around here need their money badly .. WV ain't the richest state, kids. (STEREOTYPES FTW) |
| Biggles | posted 26-Jan-2009 9:34pm No, but due to lack of funds rather than lack of trust. |
