Not on purpose. I'm sure there have been bug parts in foods I've eaten. |

Not intentionally, but I'm sure that I have. Anyone who thinks they haven't should do some research about processed food...

I suppose I have...by accident. Definitely not on purpose. |

No. But once I spat out an ant that crawled into my iced tea. |

I heard something about the average person eating some spiders in their sleep or something. |

A few flies, some ants, a cockroach I found in a pastrami sandwich I bought in a greasy diner (barf!).

Yup, mostly in foreign countries, though. I do think Macy's sold chocolate covered ants as a novelty item for Christmas a few years ago, but I didn't eat those. |

not on purpose, only when they have flown into my mouth |

Unintentionally (while inhaling), sure. |

I've probably swallowed few bugs here and there without knowing, but I never sat down and intentionally ate a bug. I'd give it a shot if opportunity came up. |

Yes, unintentionally. |

Yes. Not intentionally, but it has happened. |

No, not that I know of, though I think everyone does eat them without being aware |
Melf | | posted 21-Aug-2008 11:54pm |
No. I went through a phase when I was around seven of breathing through my lips half closed because I saw a picture of a dust mite, with a caption saying something about them being all around us in the air. Horrible looking things. |

Nope.
They had chocolate covered ants in this dingy shop I went to once .. I believe in TN. It was rather disturbing. They were in glass Mason jars, and some of them were barely coated, yet still moving.
I've yet to figure out if it was a gag gift or a real food item. |
