Deuteronomy 31:6 and 31:8, and Joshua 1:5 all proclaim that He will never leave us nor forsake us. That doesn't mean He'll prevent us from doing stupid, dangerous, mean, selfish things, though, or rescue us from their natural consequences.

Ask Wicksy, God's twin!

...actually, I may have banned God. He was a jerk.

That's a pretty strong statement coming from you; what was so bad that would prompt you to ban him?

It was a long time ago... he was just kind of mean. I don't think I actually did anything, I just thought about it, joked about it. His username made it all kind of amusing.

No. He's just waiting for us to talk to him. When we talk to him, he will listen..and as a result, he will come back.

Yes, he left in 2004.

His brother Wicksy still comes around *smile*

Jesus Christ has been here more recently - arguing with Brian, I think.

God is still around, he just doesn't go on here anymore.

However, if at least 3 people post on this survey that they want him back (I won't hold my breath), then I will speak to him and I know he will come back to say hi.

I can say that God is my twin and he did see this site as a bit of a piss take. I was the only one who took it seriously!

Ah sorry, I didn't know that you meant it like that.

You're right, we are very alike, but getting more and more different as we get older.

Is the pic too small?

I would have to say No. My experience is that there is something "greater" that "runs the show". I've had a "death experience", where I flat lined, and there is far more than what we experience through our senses. God can't leave, b/c "God", "Universal Mind", "Something" is in everyone and everything. I experience it as a variation of vibrations, density, loving and awareness, with sounds. When they brought me back into my body, I was able to describe the people, details and conversations in a room on another floor, of people that I didn't know. An amazing experience. I have to admit, I was somewhat depressed when I returned, but I no longer fear "death", but I definitely have preferences about the manner of my physical death.
