profuse sweating, getting blood on me, hmmm, not much else! |

Not washing my hands after going to the loo - I always do, but it's the walk from the toilet to the sink (a whole three or four feet) - it just feels nasty.
Going to sleep with toast crumbs in my bed.
There are probably more, but i can't think. |

Once when I'd been hiking for a few hours and was sweaty then someone I knew offered me a ride home. That's the only thing I can think of right now. |

Flying (long-haul especially), public toilets, lift buttons...Let's just say that I'm a little paranoid about personal hygiene after living through SARS. I pretty much always carry some sort of hand sanitizer with me and don't feel comfortable eating without either washing my hands first or sanitizing. |

Driving the work truck after my coworker has driven it, because he blows his nose on his hand while he's driving, and wipes his hand on his pants leg and then his hand goes back to the steering wheel. Also, just being inside the home of any of my wife's siblings because most of them are a bunch of slobs who have no idea what soap and water are, and know nothing about sanitation. I've seen them feed their toddler by "slopping" mashed potatoes onto the coffee table, that hasn't been washed since the last time, and letting him eat with his filthy bare hands off that filthy table while the cat and the dog lick at the edge of the pile of potatoes. I've also seen one of the Moms trimming the leftover meat from the Thanksgiving turkey on the table while the cat walks in circles around the plate on the table, reaching out sniffing and licking, trying to get a piece. In the past, when I didn't know better I've been given a cup of coffee at some of their homes. When I get toward the bottom of the cup I find a heavy dark ring-around-the-cup indicating that it was a dirty cup that had been standing for quite a while partially filled with old stale coffee, and they had simply dumped it, filled it with fresh coffee and given it to me without washing. They are so disgusting that I don't even like to touch my wife after she's visited her family, until she takes a shower first. |

Anything public really.... money, bathrooms, handrails, door handles, gas pumps, the top cover on a motel bed, scooping the cat box, everything in the office at work.... etc. |

Climbing inside the deisel engine to clean it at the nuclear plant. That made me feel dirty. I don't know, sometimes resale shops make me want to shower. |
