Well, I don't know her, but my mom and I were looking at her yearbook (my mom's not this person with the funny name)...and this girl's name was Paula Slutzky...Poor girl. For the record, she did not look like a slut.

No. I knew a Sidebotham (pronounced Side Bottom) but that's not an uncommon name here.

No.......... I saw a jockey once being interviewed and was surprised to see his surname was "Bastard" ..... there used to be a UK comedy, that had this stuck-up woman called "Bucket" but she insisted it was pronounced "bouquet" lol

I once heard a man by the name Per Person. It's not embarrassing, just different. Another by the last name of Hamburger.

The one name I know, that the student was razzed was his last name of Funk.

No, but I like to make funny ones up and sometimes I see them in print, like "Sally Forth," Jerry Mander," "Terry Dactyl," "Linda Hand," etc.

What do you do, exactly?

I take inbound customer service calls and provide assistance with account and company information and transactions. It's kind of hard to tell you exactly without outing the name of the company... and possibly revealing myself in a co-worker's google search.

I'm lucky to have been set up at home with all my equipment and cable/phone connections... so the calls are routed to me here in my underwear.

Anyway, I'm not so much as performing customer service as I am experimenting in human psychology (in my underwear). See: http://surveycentral.org/survey/28471.html

Is this something I could do part-time? After work?

Nope. I'm a full time employee and I only work at home because I've been with the company so long and took part in a prolonged experiment in allowing employees to work at home to increase productivity and decrease attrition. It has worked out nicely for me and the company.

Maybe not as much as I do, but unless you plan on walking everywhere, you'll need gas eventually. Plus, the price of gas affects everything else because of shipping and petroleum product raw materials.

Nothing that hilarious, but I did know a guy with the last name Cox. It's a common last name though. I'd be more inclined to laugh at Galaydick.

My younger cousin has the last name Farr and she suffered a long period of time at school where her teacher kept writing "Emily Fart" on her worksheets.
