When I eat it, I always wonder why I don't eat it more often 'cause it's good but, like a man, I'm drawn to proteins.... |

More so than I used to. I'm not big on salads because I don't like lettuce..I do like salads with egg though..mmm.. |

On some level I don't get salad. I'll eat it but ... I don't get why it's a course. It's a side, masquerading as a course as far as I am concerned. |

There is a purpose for a salad, and the order it is eaten. I'm sure most of you know this. Salads, have moisture, vitamins/minerals, oxygen, fiber. Salads should be eaten before a protein meal. If we don't get enough fiber in our diet, lots of stress, that is a real recipe for colon problems. I suffer from diverticulitis. Generally speaking, I'm a healthy person for my age, but I had a bout a few months ago, that I had such pain, I hoped for death. I was raised with healthy meals, and served my family healthy meals, but there were points I did eat junk food. I also found out that low thyroid can be the problem, emotional stress, and weight gain are all tied in...all of which I had. If you are a blood Type O, you'll have more of a propensity to have thyroid problems. I must emphasize eating the salads, vegetables, fruits are a must for many reasons. |

Chicken salad, seafood salad, tuna salad, fruit salad, pasta sald; I don't care for green and other vegetable salads. |

Yes, I like to eat salad, but I would rather it be between a few slices of bread or something. Or I maight mix it with something that holds it together. I find that eating a salad out of a bowl or plate with a fork tends to be quite tedious. |

Where's the choice for - I can take it or leave it? Salad is okay, but only if it's like at a salad bar with a lot of crap on it. Lettuce with some salad dressing on it is not a salad. |
