Do you have any thoughts on this idea?

A "nap house" where people rent a cot for a designated (by the customer) amount of time (not to exceed an hour).
Everyone sleeps in one giant room, but cots are separated by cubicle type walls, for a tiny amount of privacy. These spaces are considered 'public', so no private activities are allowed. Employees walk around, regularly checking on people, and keeping track of how much time they spend in there.

That sounds handy for people who are far away from home and just need a place to rest. I don't like the idea of people being checked up on though. I find that a little weird.

Don't like it. How could anyone sleep if employees are walking around checking on people, and other people are so close by. Why would anyone want to do this anyway?

Oh. A friend of mine works in an office where they let them go into a break room and lie down/nap when they need to - he's someone who can nap during the daytime too. Me, I can only see napping at home, on the beach, or lying on the grass in a park in the sunshine... but I can't nap during the daytime unless I'm drunk -- or on a bus, which seems to just rock me to sleep as it bumps along.

I think that sounds like a fun idea, although making sure the beds were kept clean so that lice and bed bugs and things weren't spread around might be a challenge. I love taking naps, and although this sounds appealing to me on some level, if I really wanted a nap I would just go home and take one. Although if there were a nap room where I worked I would probably use it. So maybe having more offices and places of employment have nap rooms would be a better option.

Pomeranian... *hugs* to you.

However, I think it is no joke that people have to be stacked upon one another to live, to create the scenario given. It goes against nature. I am against urbanization. People need breathing room. The world elitists, the one worlders are orchestrating the populations of the world, to cause racial, cultural chaos, easier to control. We are not robots, without feelings. We deserve to live in peace.

I think there was a place like this in the Mall of America called MinneNAPolis. I always thought it was a neat idea, but I remember hearing a new report about the place shutting down. I would use this at my place of work (office atmosphere), for a nap on my lunch break.

It seems to me that, in a small way, the business that is being described here would lessen the impact of urbanization; I didn't get the impression that people would be stacked or crammed together in the nap-room.

So presumably you'll be charging people to use this facility? How much? To justify the rent and mintenance of the building, electricity, paying the employees, etc - the cost for less than an hour's sleep would have to be pretty high.

Anywhere at all. Sometimes I get drowsy during the day. It would be nice to have a convenient place to just plop down and take a nap, without worrying about getting pick-pocketed, spat on, worried people seeing if you are okay, etc. They could be bigger places, for dense areas, or little tanning booth sized places.
