No, but only because I haven't been on prescribed medication since I was young and my parents prepared it for me.

Yes. Only pain med. Rarely but it does come in handy when I am at my deepest need, but it has been years since I've been desperate enough.

If it is for an infection, I use it till it is done.

No, I always finish my meds. That's a dumb/dangerous thing to do.

Yes. If prescription medicine was cheaper and easier to get, I would feel no need to do this. I see nothing wrong or dangerous about doing this. No qualms, whatsoever.

We have Vicodin and Percosets. They are good to have around, because we both get migraines and kidney stones.

Actually, come to think of it the pills I had (2 or 3 of them) were probably Percosets (or, actually Roxicet? something like that). Though, I guess they are all the same thing when it comes down to it. She had good reason to use them. I think it may have been tooth pain, just before a root canal was done. I've heard they sell for $10 a pill on the black market. I've never taken them for fun, though. Feeling doped up like that is not that appealing to me. Saving them for actual pain seems more important too. I hope I never get a kidney stone. That sounds awful.

it isn't really what i would call saving it......... i usually forget that it is there and then discover it later when it is either out of date or i don't need it any longer. usually don't ever use it again.

It's dangerous to not finish antibiotics, not dangerous to not finish pain meds and take them for something else later.
I save Tylenol 3, Lorcet and Hydrocodone to take later. If I have no pain, I don't take it. Why throw away good pain meds? If you have pain later, it's good to have around. Especially for toothaches or an injury when over the counter stuff wont work.

It's not appealing to us either... which is why we have a ton of it.

Absolutely, if it's something that I end up with extra of. I don't get prescription medicine that often, and when I do it's usually something I have to use continuously until it's gone. I've also never had prescription painkillers, but I would definitely keep the extra of those!

I have a huge box filled with old Rx bottles that are either filled or partially filled... I dig them out if I need them...

Whenever I get some good pain medication, I generally just take the pain for an extended period of time, and then take about 3-4 times the prescribed dosage at once. It's fudging great!

No, because I don't get prescription medications. I've never had anything more serious than a cold, and a just take a couple of Tylenols for that on wait til it passes.

Typically I finish the medication. I don't think I've ever had an instance where I didn't finish the medication.

Nope. I could use a mild stimulant for the mid day groggies and a sleeping pill for insomnia though.
