I haven't created a survey in years. I get ideas sometimes - in fact I'm booting a couple around right now, but I never seem to get around to actually making them *wry smile*

From thinking, from personal experience, from stories I read online, and sometimes I think of an opinion I disagree with, and create a survey to see how many stupid ignorant morons people agree with it.

I rarely create them, but when I do it's usually from personal experience or from reading the news.

The first five, and sometimes I see something online that makes me think of a possible survey, and from personal experience, and from talking to others.

all kinds of ways... my biggest problem is I forget most of my ideas by the time I'm back at my computer.
so many surveys, lost, like tears in rain

I haven't made any surveys for years. I enjoy coming on the site to be asked questions I've possibly never asked myself before, but I find it quite hard work to think up novel surveys, so only do it when I have something I really want to know.

I just relate to the surveys I make or they rush by me in strange set of personal questions and personal theories.

Most of the time personal experiences give me ideas for new surveys.

Personal experience, out of the blue, or in response to an SC reply which has me curious.

Another good question would be why people make surveys. That might include: duty to improve survey quality, curiousity over results, to be cute, as a challenging art-form..

O GOOD one! But now you've mentioned this, someone else (or you) may've already beaten me to it. Why don't you do this one -- looks like you have some good options.

Well from news, newspapers, TV, Radio, and from life... I rarely create surveys..think the last one was about stupid white kids who act black... Of course all the Looney Lefties jumped on me for that one for being racist and a biggot etc....

Seems a valid question. I have an adult white neighbor who does that for reasons unknown.
