I think I've only seen that show once or twice. I wasn't rooting for anyone, really. Kind of favored the nanny most of the time. When kids are being out of control, running the house, driving parents nuts, I'd root for nanny and parents. When kids are doing things that I don't think are any big deal, then for sure, I'd root for the kids. I've seen kids doing harmless things, just being kids, and felt like slapping the parent for over-reacting. |

I was not aware that this was a sports game.
I think 95% of the time, the kids need to be slapped upside the head. The other 5% of the time, the parents do.

I don't root for anyone. We watched this at a friend's house. The kids are brats, the parents are thick, the nanny is evil. |

Those shows cast for good looking kids. They have the kids play up for the show. Tell them to act like brats. It's all fake. I get mail for casting calls and they look for cute kid contest winners for those nanny shows. It's still a crappy thing to do to the kids. Make them look like heathens to have a nanny come set them straight. |

If you've seen the Supernanny or shows like it in which the nanny character goes to houses and helps parents handle kids, you might either want the misbehaving kids to get their way or you root for the nanny to straighten them out.
