I'm in a house but we don't have a lawn, just pretty borders and a nice patio and a summer house and that.
It's kind of funny, because my dad's a gardener.
Well, maybe not funny.
Ironic, perhaps, on some level.
But not funny. |

I have an electric walk behind lawn mower |

The landlord mows the lawn. |

None. I live in an apartment building... |

Mexican. No that was not racist! My gardener is Mexican. |

I don't. We live on a boat in Hong Kong. There is a large grass area in the marina, though, and staff from our club mows it on a big ride on mower. At our house in Georgia, we pay someone to mow our lawn. Tom did buy a "push/walk-behind" mower to mow our lawn but I don't think he's ever actually used it. |

riding... it has a beer drink holder. |

Though I have 1.41 acres, I use a push mower. My property is flat, and I like to work to be hard.
My Dad has about 1/3 of an acre, and he uses one of those old-fahioned motorless, spinning blade mowers. It actually works just as well. |

I use a rider for this house.
I use a push for the cottage.
When I have an extra push, I use it at this house for those hard to reach areas, otherwise I use a weed wacker. |

I have never mown a lawn, but everywhere I've ever lived the person/people responsible for mowing the lawn have used a push mower. |

Both--a walk-behind to mow the ditch lines alongside the road and a small area behind my house, and a lawn tractor for the rest. |

So that's why you nitpicked my survey.

Yup, apparently those spinning blade mowers are making a comeback. Many of my dad's neighbors are using them. They have comparatively very few moving poarts - better for upkeep; and the operating expenses are...nothing, no gas, no electricity, nothing. I can't really see a drawback for smaller yards. |

No lawn - although I've been pining for one of late - beween the puppy and the child, it'd make things much easier if I had a garden. |

Push mower. If you have a small yard, and feel a need for a riding mower, you are freakin lazy |

I think it's a Honda self-propelled thing. At full speed I have to hang on to keep it from running away from me. |

That's interesting. If they're making a comeback, I'd like to see one for myself. Perhaps the rising gas prices are prompting this? |

A run-behind mower as opposed to a walk-behind. |

That would be my guess, too. Our local ACE Harware has them in sock. |

I live in an apartment building, so I don't have to worry about keeping the grass cut. |
