You have your mommy make them a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. |

I made a friend. Imagined him I mean. Ross is cooler than any of those "real" people. |

No. I'm extremely introverted. What "opens me up" more is when others are very outgoing and friendly towards me. |

Yes, though sometimes I get a bad batch. |

You invented a friend and named him Ross. That is so nerdy. Would you believe that I invented one when I was a teenager named "Herman"? I swear, I'd make fun of you but mine was nerdy also.

I all the answers sometimes I have lots of friends, sometimes I don't, sometimes I know what to do and say but sometimes I don't! What I do know is I am a good friend to my friends, that is the only thing I can count on is that I will be a good friend. If I want a friend I need to be a friend! |

Well I did tonight. My new neighbor as of this weekend said 'Goodnight sweetheart.' |

I think I'm mostly not so great at it, but I get by. |

I might as well be the nerdiest person alive. I've had him since March 12, 2007. He wears a black and white baseball shirt and I get excited when I get to wear my shirt that looks like his. |

Yes.
You can cut the out of paper, shape them out of clay, or draw them. You can even form them from mashed potatoes (queue "Close Encounters" music). But... you can't make friends with salad. |

Not true. I saw a whole book on that exact subject. |

Marge Simpson must have been wrong! |

I think the key to making friends with ease is being funny and having a great sense of humor. It's worked for me time and time again and also that's how I've had a couple girls to fall in love with me. |

We have all the answers on making friends for ages 8-12. Hah!!
Yes, I know how to make friends, but it's a long, drawn out process when I do, and few make the grade.

Other. I am not interested in making friends. If it happens by chance, it happens. I struggle every day for independance and at the same time suffer from loneliness. The last friend I 'made' was her doing, I fought it but dammit she keeps coming back and being there for me. The pain of finding out that a 'friend' was only using me, or found a reason to not like me anymore is more than I can bear.
Why am I pouring my heart out to a monkeeee? |

Eeeeyikes.
I lost a friend over that once.
I was dropped off at a new friends house to play, and the mom was....pissed about life or something. Lunch time rolls around and she was pissed at me for being there, I think, so she throws a pb&j sandwich in front of me at the table and I calmly and sadly said "I'm allergic to peanut butter" That really put her over the edge and I looked at my little new 'friend' and they were not paying attention to anything other than their sandwich. I sat there until they were done, and we went back out to play for maybe another hour until my mom came to pick me up. I never saw that little person again. |
