About two years ago, while having lung problems, pneumonia., I was lying in bed one day, and my heart literally felt like it was coming out of my chest. The feeling was very strong, like someone was pulling at my heart. I was so afraid, I didn't move. I haven't had a problem since...however, I know I have congested heart

I sometimes get an ache in my chest when I have palpitations, but I wouldn't describe it as "sudden" and I'm not certain it's actually caused by a pain in my heart. Anyone who gets sudden, severe chest pain (especially associated with breathlessness, nausea or faintness) that lasts more than a few minutes should seek medical assistance asap. |

In February, 2003, I had pain at the back of my heart . It turns out I had multiple blockages and had triple bypass surgery. |
