I know one couple that *did* get married this year but no more so far. |

No. But I'm still happy for all of 'em. |

I don't know if they are planning on getting married this year.
I do know that my SO's mom's girlfriend asked him for permission to marry his mom a few months ago..... I just don't know when they are planning it. |

Do you have to have sex to be a couple? |

I recently attended a civil union. It was really gay. |
Enheduanna | | posted 19-Jun-2008 12:23pm |
I'm not sure. I might, but if so, I'm unaware of their plans. I do know a gay couple that just got civil-unioned, which they consider the same as married, but they didn't get legally married in one of the two US states that allows it. And I know a lesbian couple that got married in Massachusetts a few years ago. |
jettles | | posted 19-Jun-2008 1:10pm |
yes and i know people who got married previously. |

You should have seen how gay the parade was that I went to recently. Everything there was totally gay.

Jen saw a "love parade" while in Berlin, Germany years ago... she said it was very very gay as well. In a good way, but sometimes a little scary too. |

It's certainly a lot for the eyes to take in.
My favorite part is all the extra visible skin, personally. |

No, I live in Lousiana where gay marriage won't be legal anytime soon, and also where most people are too lazy to ever leave the state. |

None of the same sex couples that I know are planning on getting married. (Or if they are, I don't know about it yet!) |

jerk hag! |
they | | (reply to bill) posted 20-Jun-2008 7:45am |
I went with a bunch of lesbians. Is that still a jerk hag?
Anyway, once when we were drunk, my gay friend Tracy told me I could be his jerk hag any day of the week . |
bill | | (reply to they) posted 20-Jun-2008 7:46am |
tell me more about you and your lesbian friends... what happened after the parade? What were you wearing? |
they | | (reply to bill) posted 20-Jun-2008 7:52am |
.... more like my lesbian mother-in-law and her lesbian friends. I'm not sure what kind of freaky things they did after, but I have had two different gay men tell me that they spotted my mother in law down at two different men's gay bars near midnight that day. We were there for the parade around 1pm. That means she was down there drinking at least 11 hours..... it seems like she always ends up in "The Serpent" (I swear, it's really called that) on pride night.... |

that'a a great name for a gay bar |

I knew one half of a same sex couple who were planning to get married this year, but I'm not sure if it's still going ahead. |
they | | (reply to bill) posted 20-Jun-2008 8:46am |
Yeah, I think so too.
I really like The Serpent, so maybe I am a jerk hag.
I like that nobody cares if I walk into the men's room. I like the mirrors above the urinals . |

But there are same sex couples here in Colorado that want to marry |
LindaH |
If I had lots of resources, money and/or a plane, I'd start a free, reduced priced or donations optional service for same sex couples with limited resources to fly to California and get married, and then get a flight home. |

Oh how nice and kind of you Linda sure they would love that because here in this state of Colorado same sex
couples are being denied to a legal marriage and yes
there are those same sex couples you could say have been married for 20 years and they have a home and
children and pay their taxes in Colorado and yet this state discriminates against gay people
Today is gay pride in downtown Denver and yes they are having mock weddings putting a ring on the finger |

Married, no, the only gay couple I know actually rejects the whole concept of marriage. |
