No! Not borrowed time, hard earned time! |

No. I don't exactly understand the phrase "borrowed time". It doesn't make sense to me. |

Of course, to believe otherwise is delusion. |

I don't really feel like I'm living on borrowed time, though I believe I'd probably be dead or just really sick and miserable without all the medical care I've received over the years. I try not to think about it too much or dwell on it. I'm alive and I'm doing fine right now. I feel lucky to have made it this far. Sometimes, I think I may use having an illness as a reason to not be as brave as I should be with my life. Being sick does limit me, but I sometimes use it as an excuse when I could push to do more. There's no solid line which defines my limits. I make that line myself. |

Ever since the death of a very close friend two years ago..... I am pretty much obsessed with death and sickness. I worry a lot. I know to expect the unexpected and it scares the crap out of me. I imagine the worst... and it's really hard to get past. |

No, I live one moment to the next... Life is too short and I don't need to borrow time. |

No..I mean, I know I'll die one day..but I don't really feel as if my days are numbered. Aim high. |

Yes we all as humans are living our lives on borrowed time and we just never really do know when our
lucky number is up time to die and leave this world |

Borrowed time Linda think of it this way , none of us are going to live forever and ever and it comes that time
we can do nothing about it or stop it and we say our goodbyes and we pass away
It is not like we are running on batteries that keep us alive becuase sooner or later it will happen when we least
think about it or we get so sick and all doctors can do for us is to give us something for the pain |

I don't see how the word "borrowed" fits in though. |

Yes this is a hard one but like a book borrowed from the Library it is on (borrowed time) and you have to return
it and say like with our own lives
We have to Return to be buried or Cremated after we die?
we are born and live out our lives whether it is a short or long life , then we die and we have to be either
cremated or buried
Just like our cars we use them until the engine cannot run any longer and the car dies
|

But that would be like saying the car is "borrowed" because it won't last forever. I guess the term borrowed makes me think 'as opposed to owning'
We own our lives. At least, I own mine. |

No. Why not just make your life your own instead of merely 'borrowing' it. I didn't read the link, I'm basing my answer on an assumption the link is the question and it explains what I assume I am not agreeing with. |
