Half and half. Somewhat. I usually don't find typical jokes funny at all unless they're witty or told particularly well. My sense of humour is very dark. I don't like slapstick. The Chuckle Brothers conditioned me away from it.
Edit: Sack that. I watched Sherlock, Jr. yesterday (see avatar) and found it one of the funniest film I've seen in ages. |

I'd like to think so. |

NO. I have a very small, sick sense of humor. Laughing is not in my stable of facial expressions. Neither is crying. Only have two actually - robotic spaced out android, or anger. |

I'm not sure. |

Fairly. I'm not much for low-brow potty humour. |

The only stuff I don't like is stuff that isn't funny. |

My sense of humor is so %@$ broad you could drive a truck through it! I laugh at most everything not so much for the humor rather for the irony! |

Are you looking at my butt!!?? |
Kristal_Rose | | posted 11-Jun-2008 3:46am |
Not really. I mostly go for esoteric humor, subtle absurdity based on absract associations, and similar word play. I hate slapstick and bathroom humor. |

and what might that be? Do you like dry humor? How about dentist humor? (quite the opposite of dry, I'd say) |

Yes and the shoulders to go along with it... |

I think it's moderately broad. |

You will probably only find it funny if you like "The Office" anyway.
|
Irene007 | | (reply to they) posted 11-Jun-2008 11:59am |
I gather that "The Office" is a TV show? (I don't watch TV, so...) |

I like almost all types of humor. Even really child-like silly stuff. I especially like jokes that are funny once you realize it is a joke. You have to take off your seriousness cap and think like a goofball in order to get it. There has to be wit hidden in, though. The few things I don't find funny are mean spirited humor that has no wit, but only depends on offensiveness to be funny. Tacky t-shirts and insulting bumper stickers come to mind. |

Don't care for sexual or sick trying to be funny humor. |

Yes, and most of it is Perverted, twisted and sick not to mention I am Politically Incorrect and proud of it... It's only funny until someone gets hurt then its hilarious... |
moviesnob | | posted 15-Jun-2008 5:42pm |
Yes. I do.
But I hate potty humor. I don't find it funny at all. |
Kristal_Rose | | posted 19-Jun-2008 6:20am |
21:3? I think people are over-rating their broad sense of humor. |

I know SC doesn't represent the general population, but I'd say that in general, people tend to be serious, especially around strangers. That's why sharing a joke or 'funny moment' with a total stranger is 10 times funnier than with someone you know. I love laughing with strangers. There's a distinct kind of giddiness to it. |
