Yeah...... it's a cruel cruel world.... |

Sometimes. Seems people don't take some surveys seriously enough. But at the same time I do write surveys for fun. |

Sometimes. Usually it's misunderstood and makes me wish I would have written it different. The one about ways of being polite shocked me. More people think it's more important to use courtesy words than to refrain from calling people on poor behavior! |

Oh, all the time. |

I really did have a twin brother who died from slipping on a banana peel, truly. |
Enheduanna |
Not usually, although I make surveys very seldom. |

I did this one about water backing up in the floor of the tub, pooling around your feet.
No one seemed to get it. I must have worded it badly. |

Sometimes. My survey about the disease got some strange responses from people who didn't seem to realise that it was a question about probability. |

It depends on what kind of survey I created & what kind of mood I'm in with the response. |

Yes, sometimes, I do write surveys for specifics. I feel like the person standing on the bench at the bus station asking anyone if they know what time it is. Do you think one sane person could look at their watch for me?! No! I get laughed at, pissed on, crap thrown at me...funny looks with 's attached to them, flashed with bewbs and booties, sweet blinkie eyes from a completely insane person...people in the middle of this right in front of me (still waiting to know what time it is) having a loud and sometimes violent conversation, last but not least, the few want-to-be-good crowd all telling me the wrong time. Either their watches stopped or they are having a really bad week. |

Did I get that right this time? |

IF EVER you come up with a new emoticon...please make it to reflect the face that I am making RIGHT NOW! |

What are you afraid of? I left a response above that may explain your fears... |

I didn't know it was probablility till I read others repsonses. I didn't edit what I wrote because than I was going to have to do math Your survey was one of the ones that prompted this one. |

I would say that the disappointment is almost always outweighed by the majority of responses to my surveys.
The only time I can remember being really pissed off by a response to a carefully worded survey I'd written was here when ASB completely failed to comprehend the word 'either'. |

I just don't really think about it very often and don't come up with ideas that I think would make good surveys--or if I do, I forget about them before I can sit down at my computer to write them up. I also think it's a little bit of a hassle to deal with making the survey and getting it through Qual. |

It's been a while. I recall that I've done ones that no one seemed to "get". |

I remember that. I thought it was pretty amusing.

Doesn't matter, I don't write surveys for anything but fun.
There are times when I DO feel that my point was missed, but I figure it was because I did not convey my question properly or the subject matter does not have the same level of interest to others as it does for me. Then there is always the possibility that it was poorly written. |

Sometimes. I don't often make surveys, though. Sometimes I feel like there isn't anyone on the site I can really mesh or bond with, as it seems difficult to find people who have my same interests or look at things the same way I do (talk about SC, in particular). But that's what makes the site cool, as well. |

I haven't made a survey in ages. Sometimes I think of a good survey and then I forget what it was before I next get online. |
