Summerside-St. Eleanors- The shoulders of giants..my album cover is icky.. |

The band is called Norvel Lee and the album is A Whole Lot Better.
That has to be a Scottish acoustic rock group. |

I actually found this meme last week. It's pretty addictive actually.
KPKY
to your regular duties
Album Cover: http://www.geocities.com/arklemknzy/kpky4.JPG
I liked it so much, I slipped a reference to this non-existant band into my novel. Then, I though about how some writers have a little "thing" they work into each story; Kevin Smith has the number 37, John Landis has "See You Next Wednsday." So now the totally fake band KPKY is my "thing."
I even made a fake discography for them. http://www.geocities.com/arklemknzy/kpkydisc.htm |

When I first started writing songs, I would make lists of them in groups of about 10 to 12, because I wanted to imagine what they might look like on an album. Your link reminded me of that. |

And You're Halfway There (not too bad, but better without the and)
The third picture down is Spiderman, which I don't think Marvel would let me use. The third picture across, though, is a hippo's head sticking out of the water, with it's mouth open. Kinda funny.

Dude, photoshop that into an actual cover. That would look AWESOME! And you also by far have gotten the second best band name I've seen since I first discovered this meme (List of Asteroids was my favorite so far; the picture and album title were just perfect). |

I think Flickr has got an inbuilt feature which prevents you from right-clicking on the image in order to copy the link location.
If you want to post the image here, first click on the photo (so you go to its own page), then view the html source, then look for the word "farm" until you get to a line in the source beginning with "<img src". |

I was thinking a cross between Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Black Sabbath personally.
I have to say I usually hate all those "What's your pornstar/pimp/pirate/viking name?" games, but I think this is one of the best surveys in ages. It's such a relief from the dross we've had the last two weeks. When I saw this in qual, I couldn't wait for it to pass. |

Wish I could, but I don't have a home computer. I'm typing this on my work laptop and I'm not allowed to install Photoshop. The best I could manage is Microsoft Paint! |

BAND
Saint-Germain-lès-Arpajon - A band by the name of St-Germain already exists (love their music too) Might cause confusion.
American Freedom Agenda - Nope...
Photograph - Sucks.
Hovgården - Sucks even more!
Occupations of Latvia -
Randall Dodd - Oh! Come ON! *moan*
Coledale Beck - Ok, I ain't got all day and I like Beck, so...
ALBUM
Corrupt Laws Are Broken - First hit! It works for me... From Benjamin Disaraeli "When men are pure, laws are useless; when men are corrupt, laws are broken." I dropped the comma.
This was fun but as you can see - I cheated on the name of the band. It's too important an element to be left random....

I suspect that you're like me... You have seen some things on the net that were a kind of revelation or a confirmation of what you believe to be true. I don't mean that the info found is what shapes you but rather confirms what you have suspected all along. I'm I right? |
