| bill | posted 29-May-2008 10:13am I've hiked to the top of many mountains. Though, technically the term "mountain climbing" usually means something a lot more serious than hiking (eg. rock climbing with ropes and such). Hiking is not really very hard, almost anyone can do it. We have a lot of mountains around here. You can even drive to the top of some of them. |
| Enheduanna | posted 29-May-2008 11:20am I clicked the link before I picked my answer. I wasn't sure what you meant by climbing mountains. If they have trails up them, then yes. But I think you're talking about scaling near-vertical surfaces, perhaps competitively, which I don't know how to do and have no desire ever to learn to do. I voted other, since your other two options are incredibly limited. |
| Galomorro | posted 29-May-2008 12:00pm No. Trails are just fine, thanks. |

| Van | posted 31-May-2008 2:01pm I've don't know but I've never tried. |
| romkey | posted 31-May-2008 8:42pm I can walk up trails to the top of small mountains... and scramble around on rocks if they're not too steep. That's what most people do... I can't do serious mountain climbing and have no interest in it. |
| Pomeranian | posted 1-Jun-2008 3:30am You put one foot in front of the other and soon you're walking up the mountain |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 1-Jun-2008 11:09pm Yes I have climbed a mountain and now here i am living up here on top of Colorado |

Are we talking those baby mountains 4,000.00 feet above sea level ? Well then you can accomplish this mission Jody and climb any mountains |
| Jody | (reply to JessicaWoman99) posted 2-Jun-2008 9:28am I mean what we call "Mount" this or "Mount" that in the New England area - which, they say, technically, includes anything over 2000 feet. Foothills, really. |
