Have you ever pretended / treated someone as though you were in an intimate relationship with them?

By this I mean have you ever pretend to go out with someone or treated someone as though you were in an intimate relationship with them? i.e mentally considered them to be your S.O or acted toward them as though you were under this assumption

Well I would occasionally do something like that. Like I would say what we were going to name our kids. But not, well, in front of them. I can't understand why any normal person would do this though.

Yes, but only for three days. That was really foolish.

You mean pretended you were their SO, but not REALLY been their SO? That sounds kind of mean, but maybe I'm unclear on the concept.

I assume you mean that this person wasn't in reality my SO and that I was not in fact having an intimate relationship with them at the time? The answer is no.

No. However, I have done this accidentally...assumedly....mistakenly when I thought I was in an intimate relationship with someone only to find out it was not at all the intention of the other person.

When you're single; this is a technique for getting laid. When you're married, this is how you get out of doing chores.

She was soo pretty and soft and young (so was I at the time) she hexed me! Yea that’s what she did , she hexed me, so I did what she wanted…and wanted…and wanted! Is that my fault? NO! The blame belongs to her! It is she you seek not myself, take to the streets and find her! Bring her back and we will…………………………….? Yes. When I was in first grade I loved to think of this girl next to me as my wife (she didn't even know I liked her). One day I sat down and she exclaimed; "He kissed me!" I still don't remember doing it but she assured me and everyone that I gave her a peck on her cheek as I sat down. I know I had thought about it but didn't know I did it. She must not have hated it as she invited me to her B day party shortly after. She moved away after the school year. *sigh* Later I've done it as a playful, joking around thing.

The most shocking time came when a girl I had never seen before thought I was her BF, goosed me to let me know she was there and told everyone that when we met the first thing I had said to her was to propose marriage and she said YES! *EEEK* After some discussion I came to realize that she had me confused for my younger brother. She didn't believe me. Thought the I.D. I showed her was fake and finally had to be convinced by two of my sisters who were luckily there. Geesh, that brother of mine! Damn near got me in trouble with my wife!
