Do you tend to prefer the voice of a male or female singing?

It depends on the music genre and the artist. I think female fadistas (fado singers) sing this type of music better than the male singers I've heard. Females have a better vocal range in any kind of music. But when it comes to blues singers I notice I tend to go for the male singers more.

I think I have a slight preference for female, but it's very close to not mattering.

It makes no difference to me but i do prefer a man singing to me with most songs

I've heard beautiful voices in both male and female....no preference

Males, and especially particular males.

More depends on the theme of the song, if it involves sex then female singers are preferable, whereas songs about love and whatever else tend to be preferable personally to be song by males.

Male. I prefer to listen to men sing. If you were to look at my iPod..atleast, 97% of the songs are sung predominately by men.
Now, I don't think it's necessarily because I can't stand when women sing..But rather, the songs they sing make them sound whiny..and I am so not in the mood for that..ever.
