I would call it fiction. Also, I might just have to leave some things out, there's plenty of things that would make people uncomfortable or otherwise not be useful to the reader. But I would really want my name to be on it. If for some reason I ended up using a pen name I would put my real name as "Illustrated by" so at least I would get that. |

I would call it a memoir (though I would never write one as I'm far too young). It would have fake names throughout.
Me and Lenny have been trying to think of a good, gender neutral psuedonym for myself this past week, in case I ever get published. Farrell is a frightfully boring last name. |

The story of my life would be boring and no one would want to publish it. I would probably never write it, either. |

I would call it fiction, use fake names but use my real name as the author...and pray that no one shows up at my door. |

I don't know. Probably fake names and a pseudonym. As long as I get money for the book sales, I don't need name recognition.
And I'd probably leave out the part about

I doubt I would ever want to do this, period.
If I did, I'd most likely publish it under my real name, using real names.

I have already written the story of my life, called it a memoir and used my real name as the author. 11th hour revisions are taking place. |

I would call it a memoir with my real name and real name as the author |

I would use my name, but not mention other live peoples names.... |

Probably take that option as a means of revenge / guilt or glamor / pride. ps oopps about the double comments. |

The last option, protecting all... you can get sued otherwise, doesn't seem worth it. |

I would never write a book about my life. |

I'd be nicer to other people than myself. If I was doing a tell-all, that would be a hint I'm soon to be deceased. |

No one would care enough for it to be necessary for me to change my name |
| aquawolfy | | posted 27-May-2008 4:00pm |
call it a memoir. Use fake names for the innocent and a pen name as the author. Who needs recognition? |
kcthedog | | posted 27-May-2008 5:46pm |
It would be a tragic-romantic-science fiction -comedy and I would use real names and events, and I would star in the movie when it was released!
It would be kinda like……..Fear and loathing in Las Vegas

You think Barbara Walters knows something we don't?

That is of interest...I think there was something else coming up but right now brain fried can't remember but it wasn't health thing that we know about. There are few people I want to live forever at least till I die, and she is one of them. |

...I'm pretty sure I'd go real all the way. I have nothing to hide. If they recognize themselves, oh well. Actually, I think I would even want people to know that I wrote about them. This is really good question... |
