*shrug*
I'd eat a bowl of green peas or chopped tomato as a meal. More power to ya.
It's better than something deep fried any day. |

But... I don't really know what avocado really tastes like. |

Doesn't seem like enough to make a meal. |
Melf | | posted 23-May-2008 4:22pm |
I don't think I could have any fewer thoughts on it. |

I'd think that it was slight for a meal and didn't have a great nutritional profile... avocado fats are healthy, but it's lacking in protein. |

Yuck, whatever. |

One of my favorite foods! If it wasn't so expensive I'd be eating them a lot more often. Like when there used to be an avocado tree just outside one of my windows (building owner cut it down some years ago). So I chose yum, healthy, cool, simple; and other as in a FAVORITE FOOD! Avocado has healthy fats. |

I would never eat an avocado, but avocados are high in many essential nutrients and amino acids..But they taste funny. |

My thoughts on someone eating an avocado as a meal? It's your train, Jesse, rob it any way you want to. |
| JessicaWoman99 | | posted 25-May-2008 11:06pm |
Strange and boring |
| Enigma | | posted 25-May-2008 11:55pm |
I've not thought of it at all. Now that I'm trying to think of it.... I can't seem to think anything of it... Can't see that it would hurt anything. |

People can eat whatever they want. If I bothered over what other people ate, then I'd be very pissed.
Unless, however, they are forced, due to poverty, to only have an avocado as a meal, then that's sad. |

Half an avocado makes a good snack - I'm not sure that it provides the nutrients a person would need if that were a regular meal. Plus, avocadoes are very high in fat - it may be "good" fat but eating too many is still going to cause you to gain weight. |

Yum, with salt and something to accomany it, bread, crackers, or even in a salad. |
