Books OF COURSE! I have no TV. I had one for a while as an adult but was dissatisfied with the programming and commercials. Even when I was a kid I didn't care for TV but read a lot. It's not that I don't like watching SOME films but I just don't care for what's mainly offered on TV, nor to pay the too-high price of cable, and I'd prefer watching the films I do rent on my Mac's DVD player. TVs take up too much room and I do have a widescreen monitor.

There's a bunch of weirdos here, I think for a speech you would want to have normal people answers? * laughing out loud * anyway.. computer.

Books. I enjoy TV quite a bit, but I like books better. I would be devastated if there were no more books, but I wouldn't be as upset if there were no more TV.

I like both, but ultimately, if I had to pick between one or the other, I'd pick books. I like how on TV I can get news and weather updates, but in the end, readings provides me a lot more joy.

If I could only have one for the rest of my life, I would choose books. Lately I'm using TV to unwind at the end of the day, so I'm just watching any old rubbish. I don't really have the energy to settle down with a good book - probably because I'm spending hours every day reading textbooks in the library. I think I might spend most of my summer reading all the books I've wanted to try over the last year * smile *

oooohhhhh....it's Tuesday. The 13th. Sorry, I didn't read this in time...and I wasn't watching television either.
I ticked "I am not allowed to" because I thought it was freakinghilarious.

I feel trapped watching TV. If you get up, you miss something. You don't miss anything when you close a book to go do something else.
