My favorite tea is Urawela Estate, a Ceylon tea made by Sri Lanka's only female tea maker. |

Turkish apple. It's not really tea, though. |

Heavily spiced herb teas. One I like is Mayan Cocoa Spice from Yogi Tea. Always with lemon and most always iced. |

I drink yerba maté almost every morning and I have a cup of black tea in the afternoon most days as well. I like strong black teas like Assam, Ceylon, and Yunnan. I also like some herbal infusions, like mint and chamomile. I actually like black tea better than maté as far as flavor goes, but there's something about the maté that I just love in the morning. |

Don't drink much of that either - I guess I like green tea |

I'm a fairly big tea drinker. Usually just plain black tea, but I also enjoy Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Russian Caravan, green tea, chamomile or rosebud tea (which tastes like Turkish delight - delicious!) |

Mostly, I don't like tea that much. I've tried, I've really tried. There are some that are OK and sometimes I'll make it for a change, but coffee is about 10 times better than tea, for me. When, I do make tea, I'm a little snobby about it. I have a little iron pot and some loose tea (which has gotten a bit old at this point, so...) Anyway, I like genmaicha (green tea with toasted rice in it) and also Oolongs in general (semi-fermented, I've had some good experiences with Ti Kuan Yin "iron goddess of mercy"), also jasmine sometimes. There was this guy I knew who was into tea and he would make it for us sometimes, being very particular about it and buying the expensive stuff. Some of that rubbed off on me. But, I cut corners he would never have. Anyway, when he made it, it was usually really good. But, that was probably because of the build-up. Oh, sometimes I like to have Celestial Seasonings "tea" (orange). Also, lemon-ginger (whatever brand)... and Chai too. Both, those are not really tea. |

I like Red Zinger, Peppermint tea, Earl Gray. I like my tea with lots of sugar and milk. |

The only kind of "tea" I've ever liked is that instant powdered nestea.
My dad worked for the city when I was a kid, so he had these nifty little collapsible plastic drink containers. I think they were actually for water samples from the city... but he used them to freeze nestea in. He would drink on them all day as they melted. When he came home from work, he'd throw the containers with what was left in them in the fridge. I always drank the leftover slush.
I never drink it anymore because I stopped putting sweetener in beverages.... but sometimes (like now) I get a craving for it. It would taste best from those little jugs. I might ask my dad if he still has them. |

Tea is awful. I won't drink it. |
Iseult | | posted 12-May-2008 12:09pm |
Oolong, but it has to be prepared right. I can never steep it for just the right amount of time, I always overdo it.
I also drink English Breakfast and Earl Grey with little milk in it, or if I'm drinking herbal tea I get chamomile or jasmine.
One type of tea I absolutely detest is green. It tastes gross and leaves a nasty aftertaste. I still don't get what the big deal it is with it. |

I like the apricot and peach flavored herbal teas; Earl Grey is nice too. I drank a lot of tea when I stayed in Turkey and England. I can't stand mint teas - tastes worse than medicine. |

I like fruit teas - Whittard's do some nice ones (fruit infusions, with no real tea in them - I can't have real tea). |

I don't normally drink tea but if I'm sick I have something berry and I load it with honey and sugar. So it's really not tea, it's nectar. |

Green tea but it is just for health purposes. I only like iced tea if it is very sweet with a little lemon. |
