I'd rather have something unsweetened than use artificial sweeteners. If I'm particularly concerned about the sugar in something I'll usually use agave, which is a natural sweetener that's sweeter than table sugar and has a very low glycemic index (very low impact on blood sugar). |

Yes, I'm trying to use them more often than I use sugar. There are some things that don't work with sweeteners though. |

No. I respect my teeth too much to lie to them in such a horrid way. |

Other - I use healthier sweeteners that are not listed above -- mainly Stevia, an herb plant, but thinking of also trying Xylitol, which is supposed to be good as a cavity-preventer. The ones listed are probably not very good for one. I don't have any regular sugar around at all. Stevia is said to have a slightly bitter taste by some. Tried to grow the plant but it died. |

No sweetener is better than any of this crap. |

I don't use sweeteners in my coffee, just light cream (mmm FAT).
I make Cool Aid sometimes and when I do, I use sugar, but half of what they suggest.
I use honey sometimes, but not often. I use brown sugar in cooking too (I like to make baked beans sometimes *fart noise emoticon*).
I don't use artificial sweeteners very often, but I sometimes eat stuff that have them in it (some yogurts have it, I think).
I generally avoid artificial sweeteners, but it's not a big deal to me. I probably avoid sweet things in general. But, not always. |

No, I use regular sugar, or honey or maple syrup. I think the artificial sweeteners all have a bad taste. |

Now that I'm diabetic I do. I buy Splenda but most restaurants carry Sweet & Low. I can't tell the difference. |

Sweet & Low. Sometimes I use honey in place of sugar but it is natural. |

No, I use sugar or honey or molasses. |

OK, you have got to try molasses in your coffee and tell me you love it and are now hooked. |
