I never was and probably never will be. Annoyed the hell out of me.

He was okay... I didn't dislike him. His antics weren't my cup of tea. I will say that I'm not thrilled to see his wife pimping their daughter out whenever she can, but I'm sure the money is good, so... |

Never heard of him. |

No, I'm not a big fan of wildlife programmes, although he was a great entertainer. |

Yes of course I was and hard to believe he is gone |

Not really. He was a little hyper for me. I had a friend who was child-like in that way. He was great in small doses.... |

You mith have know him as the crocadille hunter. |

When you've grown up watching Natural History programmes presented by Sir David Attenborough, no one else compares - least of all Steve Irwin. It's sad that he died so young, but I found his style patronising and childish. |

I guess... I didn't dislike him. |

Not at all. Not that I disliked him. I just wasn't interested. |
Galomorro |
No, sorry -- never heard of the crocodile hunter either. No TV, and I haven't been to a movie theater in more than 5 years. |

I wouldn't call myself a fan, but I wouldn't say I disliked him either. |

I was when he first came out on Animal Planet. My dad and I have always wanted to go to Australia and watching him only strengthened that. We were planning to go to the Australia Zoo and try to see him but it never happened... |

Was. He'a kinda dead now. His daughter is rather fun to watch now Perhaps I can be a fan of the Irwin egacy. |

No, I just never liked reptiles, snakes, crocs. If he did puppies and baby ducks and tackled playful kittens, maybe I would have been a fan. |

I enjoyed watching his show for brief periods, and I admired his commitment to the wellbeing of animals, and his desire to educate the world about them. I don't know that I'd call myself a fan, though. |

You want to see a grown-man tackle a kitten?! O.o |

Hahahahahahahaha XD |
Crayons | | (reply to aquawolfy) posted 12-May-2008 7:36pm |
Well, if he did it in some cute lovey fashion, without actually hurting the kitty, and then he would send it off to a field of green to be free... |

Fan is too strong, but there was something about him I found endearing. |

I had to look him up on wikipedia. It was one of those "Oh that guy" moments. I saw a spoof on South Park and I heard he died. Then I promptly forgot that he existed. Oh yeah, I'm a huge fan... |
