Do you sometimes feel that your life or someone else's life can be referred to as 'tragic'?
Tragic:of, relating to, or expressive of tragedy
Tragedy: a serious drama describing a conflict between the protagonist and a superior force (as destiny) and having a sad end that excites pity or terror.
I sometimes see other's ives as tragic. Like a tragic comedy. I thought of this survey the other day because I was seeing my life as tragic. A sad ending type of tragic. Weird feeling.
I know some people who have lives that seem tragic to me but I'm not sure how they are ultimately feeling in general, so I can't say.
I know some people who have exceptionally awesome lives, but they are trapped inside a head that can't see it. That's tragic.
The way I think I was able to cope with the first major tragedy in my life was the realization that I'm not special. Every person experiences pain in their lives... If they haven't yet, they will. Crap just fudging happens. You just have to keep going.
So my answer is: I always feel that everyone's life can sometimes be referred to as "tragic".
