Melf |
It's from my real name. Hm. I'm thinking of changing it to Melf. |
Iseult |
Just google it. I'd do it for you, but I'm on a Mac and still not 100% comfortable with Safari. Don't know how to do tabs. Can I even do tabs?
Why did I choose it? I liked how it sounded. |
they |
they:
1. nominative plural of he, she, and it.
2. people in general

When my son created my first email account, he gave me the name Irene007 (not all that original but, hey! He was only 11!) so it kinda stuck, I guess... I use it all over because it's easy to remember.... |

Enheduanna | | posted 5-May-2008 11:15am |
Enheduanna was an Akkadian princess, the daughter of Sargon the Great, and the high priestess of Nanna, the sun god, at Ur. She is the first woman poet on record, and one of the earliest writers as well.
I can also tell you that Pomeranian means "big jerk." |

Galomorro | | posted 5-May-2008 11:59am |
"Galo" means "rooster" in both Portuguese and Spanish. Years ago I lived in a neighborhood where some neighbors had chickens and I liked hearing the sound of roosters crowing. "Morro" means "hill" in Portuguese and Spanish. All my life I've loved hills and mountains. Thus "Galomorro," "rooster" and "hill" put together in my two favorite non-English languages, first fav being Portuguese. |

 Yay, thanks. |
Melf |
How do you pronounce Enheduanna? I've always thought of it as En-eed-you-anna but that doesn't sound quite right to me... |
cerealkiller |
You're a psych major? Hah, you should study me. I am an anti-social, dissociative schizoid with OCD and paraphilias. Psychologists generally give up with me after 3 or 4 sessions or they are afraid of me.
My name - cerealkiller. Don't have to explain the meaning. Real? Possible? Probable? Cereal lover? One of those. |

Enheduanna | | (reply to Melf) posted 5-May-2008 3:04pm |
That's pretty close. I pronounce it En-head-you-ON-nuh. Some people pronounce it more like En-head-due-ON-nuh, which is only very slightly different, I guess. |
Melf |
Ah, cool. |
| aquawolfy |
My name is pretty simple and I thought it up in a hurry. Aqua is just what I consider a very pretty color. Wolfy is just something I came up with because I love wolves and my dream is to see some in the wild and possibly even research them. I'm trying to find a college in CA where I can get that chance and study zoology.(Any suggestions?) Anyway it was going to be "Aquawolf" but it sounded too much like a superhero and like I said, I was in a hurry. |

Is there a file button on the top of your screen? If there is, just click it and there might be something saying "New Tab" or something like that. At least that's how mine is..... Try using FireFox. |

Zang |
It all started with this obscure comic book from 1971:
About four years later, when I started playing D&D with one of my buddies, I needed a name for my character, so I used Zangar, but I changed it to "Zang Garr". I lost interest in D&D around 1979, so it didn't get used again until about ten years later when I stated playing similar role-playing games on Nintendo. I needed a name here when I started, so I used it again, only now my full name is: "Zang Bang Bing Bang Karang Karang Bowl-A-Rama Ding Dong".
