A flower. Weeds are just as anchored to the dirt as flowers are. And who decides whether a plant is a weed or a flower, anyway? It's all about context. |

I'm a weed, that's just the type of person I am. |

A flower I would rather be no matter what |

Uh, I read the poem. I was going to say a flower, but the poem made that sound somewhat trashy. So I thought a weed but the author made the weed sound somewhat stinky with pride. I don't want to be that.
Going with my first instinct, and forget that jpoem, I would rather be a flower. There are some tough flowers out there that can kick other flowers ass, that is the flower I would prefer to be. A weed, in my opinion, is a plant that is where it isnot wanted. I would not want to be in that weed's shoes. |

My neighbour says a weed is just a flower that grows where you don't want it too. Seems to me the flower would be more strongly rooted. |

A flower. The, uh, daft pseudo-elegance of the poem doesn't really do it for me. |

A flower because weeds get either pulled out from the ground by gardeners or get smoked by stoners. |

That would be the douchebags known as HOA.
"It's all about context."
I am guessing the definition of a weed verses a flower is similar to the one about sexual attractiveness. People sort of just make it up as they go along.

Depends on where I lived. If I was self aware, I'd want to be whatever lived longest. I wouldn't mind living amongst wild growing pot plants. I think that even if I wasn't one of them, we would get along. |
