| LindaH | posted 25-Apr-2008 2:29pm No. I dream about the same places all the time, but different events |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 25-Apr-2008 3:54pm I do have some bad dreams most times and I dream during my naps and when I am asleep at night |
| RGirl | posted 26-Apr-2008 3:32pm I used have them quite often. Well, more a recurring theme. When I was in college it was elephants on the rampage. |
| bill | posted 26-Apr-2008 6:31pm I've dreamed that groups of people have come to the field and woods behind our house a few times now. |

| they | posted 4-May-2008 8:58am Of houses. Places. The theme is usually the same. My family lives there. There are secret passages to be found. There is an overall bad vibe. Something scary lurking in the dark. The houses are all vaguely similar and the general sense is always that I've been there before.
As I've gotten older, the houses are more often buildings... with elevators that do unexpected things, stairways with missing landings, and high floors on which I never feel very steady. Undertones of vertigo and falling. They are pretty easy dreams to dissect. I have only seen one of these houses in waking life. It was months or years after the dream. I knew it as soon as I saw it. The dream was of the outside of the house (which is unusual for me, but it's also most likely the reason I recognized it). In the front of the house, there were two little girls turning a jump rope together with an old woman looking on. That's it. That's the dream. When I saw the house, there was no question it was the one. It was in my grandma's small town, 50 miles from me. When I asked grandma about the house, she told me about an elderly woman that had lived in it since she was a child. |
| they | posted 4-May-2008 9:01am My other recurring dream is my frustration dream.
I am in a public place, with crowds of people or busy roads. I have all 5 of my cats, my 2 dogs, and my kid... or some random mix of the bunch. These dreams actually involve the pets more often than the kid. The dreams involve trying to keep them all with me and safe. Pretty nerve wracking. |

> Well, more a recurring theme. > When I was in college it was > elephants on the rampage. When I was a little girl, I experienced night terrors. Some doctors thought it had to do with a medication they had me on, but because my daughter went through the same thing, I think it was just some hereditary mental thing. I don't know if you've ever seen someone in a night terror, but it's really awful to deal with. You can't wake the person up and they are in this severe state of fear and distress. I used to beg and plead my mom not to kill me... I can't imagine what that must have been like for her to hear. I don't remember any of that though...... I remember a little bit of the fear, and something about an elephant. That's it. To this day, usually when I have a fever..... I can hear my mom's voice saying something to me. She's always saying the same thing, has been saying the same thing for 20-25 years. But it's like it's on fast forward.... and I can never make it out. My theory is that at some point when I had a fever, or maybe during one of these night terrors... she said something and it branded itself onto my brain. Who knows? Anyway, you mentioned elephants and it made me think of it. |
| Zang | posted 7-Jun-2008 5:41pm Yeah. I often have that one where everyone except me is naked and they don't seem to notice. I suppose everyone has that one. |
