Well, to get us off to a cheery start: I could be dead. But there's no creativity there, so let's move on.
I might be a part time published author. That would be nice.
I might own a bookshop... but I'm not sure that will happen at twenty-six, so I might just be working in one.
I'll definitely be looking at adopting a couple of kids.
I might be a teacher... but rather a lot of people seem to think that's a bad idea. |

Hopefully, married.... two kids.
Healthy.
As long as they don't continue to ship jobs off to India, I'll probably still be at the same company... doing some variation of the same thing I do. It's what I know and what I'm good at.. and I don't really like being new at something that I'm just doing to get a paycheck. I'm not really interested in a career. My job is my way to make money to support my life OUTSIDE of work.
Hopefully, we're in a different house... after having fixed up this one and sold it.

Me too!!
That's exactly what I said.

It's not going to "turn out" as though ten years is an ending. I think we will live in the same house, pretty much the same life, only we will all be 10 years older. |

Married. Two kids. A dog. And a mortgage I struggle to pay. See I have always been told to follow in my fathers fathersteps. LOL. |

I'd be 24. Maybe I'd be in school still for becoming a psychologist if end up still wanting that and I'd be able to draw much much better than I do now. |

In 10 years, I will be 34. I should be a qualified medical doctor working as the equivalent of a specialist registrar (the system is changing) and training in a specialism of my choice. I'll probably be starting to gear up to either apply for posts as a consultant (the equivalent of a US attending) or start a family, depending on how other things are progressing in my life. |
| Van | | posted 26-Apr-2008 5:30pm |
If things go as expected I'll have graduated from college and have a decent paying job. |
| Van | | (reply to Biggles) posted 26-Apr-2008 5:31pm |
What are you going to specialize in? |
Biggles | | (reply to Van) posted 27-Apr-2008 2:38pm |
I'm only a first year medical student so it's really too early to say. Something where I'd get long-term contact with the same patients though - palliative care or oncology appeal the most at the moment, but there are a lot of areas that I know very little about.
What do you want to do after you've been to college? |
| Van | | (reply to Biggles) posted 1-May-2008 7:06pm |
I haven't decided, but I still haven't made a final decision on my major either. I'm interested in political science, but I don't know if I really want to major in it. |
