When I used to have money and a friend and I would eat at this seafood place that had a dish called POKE, a kind of raw tuna dish. At the same place for dessert I'd have this huge hot fudge sundae. Also at ANY Japanese restaurant -- not only do I love sushi but all other kinds of Japanese cuisine as well. |

After a day of hiking in the White Mountains (New Hampshire) around mid-autumn; a friend and I arrived at Mizpah Spring Hut where we had arranged to stay the night. We changed out of our boots, putting on fresh socks and washed up a bit. Dinner was served shortly after at a long wooden table with many other hikers who were also guests there. The food was simple: bread, pasta, tomato sauce, and salad. I think I had some cocoa too. But, it tasted amazingly good after being out all day hiking. |

When I was in the hospital, I was told not to eat, but I forgot, and ate a chocolate covered pretzel. That was pretty memorable. Not pretty, just pretty memorable. |

There are a few of them. The kaiseki meals I had in Japan, and lunch at the French Laundry. |

Yes, but I cannot recall. There have been several, but I'm not sure the occasion can be completely left out. The last meal is the one I prepared, it was the first time I made corned beef and cabbage. I thought it was the most awesomest bestest thing I had ever made. Mary didn't eat it, so I was eating it for about the next dozen meals.( I got the biggest one I could at the store.) It was as good the last meal as the first. I'm not sure this is the answer to the survey because it was so recent...who's to say I'll for get all about it by summer.

This taco nacho type stuff my girlfriend's mother made. I remember it because A. It was good and B. I was 16 and this was the first girl I had sex with and her parents knew we were 'dating' and it was the first night I stayed over. Her parents were so open minded they wanted to make sure we had a good time. I still make it but nobody knows the story behind it or where I got the idea. |

My ex's granny's Creamed Corn.
Ben's pasta sauce.
My mom's pumpkin pie. OMG, I don't even like pumpkin pie. That's how good it is.

I hate when you make something good and the family won't eat it.
I made a fantastic pot of vegetable soup last week and Mary and Ben barely touched it. I ate it once a day until it was gone. |

Yeah, best meal ever, back in 1999 at Harold's Club in Lansing, Illinois. I can't remember the name of it but it was a German dish. Best meal ever. |

At least it was so good I didn't mind eating it meal after meal. I loathe throwing food away. I'll freeze it till I forget what it is before I throw perfectly good food away. |

I feel the same way. |

The Thanksgiving dinner we had at my grandma's last year. Her turkey is better than my mom's. So are her pies and dinner rolls. |

And there is another wierd thing, I make enough for two. So I wil take enough for me, and leave the rest for Mary to take. She will always take all but about one to two tablespoons. It doesn't matter how much I leave, and that little amount is not useable for anything. Sometimes I make enough for left overs, and she will eat half of that, and not leave enough for another meal. Weird. |

Ben used to always complain that I always finished everything. So I started leaving a small portion of everything..... just to be a dick. |

Is your avatar blinking? I think I saw that this time
Can he make magic with small portions? Or is it making little compact containers taking up the fridge? |
they |
Taking up the fridge. We grocery shop about once per every 1-2 weeks, and when we get home, we throw all the leftovers out. For instance, 1 piece of salami, 1 piece of cheese, 1 cookie, etc.
